Positive: What we enjoyed the most was the beach, which was really great. Despite the construction near the pool area, the building’s overall facilities were in good shape. The apartment was comfortable and clean, although it could have used a small dining table in the kitchen. Other than the unpleasant encounter with that one particular staff member (whose name we didn’t catch), the rest of the staff was friendly. Overall, we had a good experience in those regards.
Negative: During our stay from September 8th to September 12th, we encountered several issues. In addition to the constant construction noise, which was unbearable from about 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and not properly described, we had a very unpleasant encounter with a staff member (a woman). While heading to the beach via the wooden walkway, we were rudely stopped and basically accused of not being guests. Despite explaining that we were staying in apartment 607, she was extremely rude and even threatened to report us. This attitude really made the experience quite unpleasant.

Positive: It was close to the beach, and walking distance to some of the restaurants. The facility was clean and spacious.
Negative: The pool was closed during our visit. I wish that there was a beach umbrella that came with the room.

Positive: The resort was beautiful and we didn't know it had a bar by the beach entrance, so that was a bonus. Staff was very friendly. Very close to all other resorts and restaurants. We literally walked everywhere in under 10 minutes.
Negative: The mattress was very hard. The fridge was too small to stock food for a family.
Summary: Great location to restaurants and shops. Beautiful resort with beach access.

Positive: Convenient to restaurants and of course the beach!
Negative: We did not have access to 2 beach - lounge chairs. That was disappointing we laid our towels down on the sand at the beach from our room. The elevator kept going out of service from the parking garage area and we had to walk around the building. Our sink in the bathroom room 607 did not drain water well. And our toilet was very slow to fill up. Lastly room 607 needs a sheer type of curtain so you can open the curtains but have something to cover the window so people from the pool cannot look into the room. I have stayed at this resort prior to COVID and things really have changed in 5 years. Still a great location but disappointed in the upkeep and the lack of amenities when compared to what we had before.
Summary: Good overall. Location is excellent.

Positive: Marco Beach Ocean Resort is a great place to stay! It has a parking garage to keep it a short walk back to your resort. The pool area is a nice place to hang out and relax! There are many places to go eat. Some are within walking distance or a short drive to others. It's a short walk to the beach for those long walks or to hang out for the day!
Negative: We had a great stay! If anything, I would have to say the kitchen could have had a few more cookware items/utensils, cuttingboard, bowls, etc.
Summary: Marco Island is a great place to get away for fun, relaxation, and great food!
