Positive: Very good communication with the hosts, excellent presentation of the way to enter despite the complicated setup. Better hair dryer than in most places, as good as at home. Absolutely clean iron, no burnt plastic on it.

Positive: The first thing you need to get into an apartment is a good internet connection. We saved and wrote down all the instructions, but when we got behind the first door, to open the second door you need internet, and it doesn't work inside the building. We were very nervous at night with a small child and belongings trying to get into the apartment. Also everywhere in the instructions it says how important it is to keep separate garbage collection and what the fines are, but the garbage containers are not really signed. The apartment itself is nice, there is storage space, a croûat and a sofa, the kitchen has everything you need. There are cafes and stores nearby.

Negative: Hard to get into the apartment, bathroom not cleaned, not enough hangers at the entrance for jackets

Positive: Great location just around the corner from the Uffizi. Lots of nice eating places in the area. This is a large apartment with high ceilings. King bed with two singles on a mezzanine above were comfortable. Lovely living area with most facilities you will need. It is up two flights of stairs with no lift (it's an old building). Easy instructions for the key box, though I believe Florence is banning key boxes soon.

Negative: It's a bit noisy around 4.30am when some traders get their carts out of storage to take up to the square.

Summary: Loved our stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to be in the heart of Florence.

Positive: Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed

Negative: Getting entry to property was a nightmare. Reception for internet at the front gate meant we were without instructions to get in meaning we had to ring host. We then had to ring again to get into apartment. The door has a very strange lock which we had a lot of trouble with even with instruction over the phone.
