Just 10 minutes drive from Fenelon Falls downtown, close to grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, liquor store, etc.The cottage is family owned, with a wood stove fireplace, and an open living room, dining room & kitchen . There are 4 bedrooms(one which is in a bunkie outside) and 2 washrooms. There is a sofa bed in living room. Equipment and Supplies Provided for 11+ People;
•Fenelon House has 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds, 2 doubles sofa beds, one in the living room and one in the main bedroom,1 double bed and one single bed in the 3rd bedroom, 1 bunkie with a queen bed, and 2 single mattresses that can be placed in the living area for children use. The Bunkie has a queen size bed. Each bed is supplied with its own mattress cover, pillows, pillow protectors and comforters.
•Paper towels are provided and there is a main floor laundry facility available to wash bedding, linens and towels for repeated use.
•The house comes equipped with: inside and outside furniture, 2 fridges, stove, washer, dryer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots/pans, and general kitchenware, as well as a vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment, and blow-dryer.
•The following supplies are also included: toilet paper, coffee filters, garbage bags, soap, detergent and cleaning supplies. There is also an automatic cofee machine, but might need some cofee beans.
•Internet access is free. Internet is high-speed wifi. Password to be provided. There is an IPTV - TV , DVD player and DVDs. You can also cast your Netflix from your phone to chromecast on TV .
•You have a canoe and a kayak for your use durring the stay. Lifejackets are provided for your safety
• Firewood is not provided. Please bring your own

Summary: This cottage was great, it had everything we needed for the week. The river was nice and quiet and we all enjoyed swimming in it. I recommend bringing some inflatables to longer in the river with it. It was less than 10mins into town where we went to get groceries and stopped to get ice cream and really great funnel cakes! We had reached out to the host a few times and he was very responsive and helpful. After only being there for a few hours we all agreed that we would be booking this again next year!

Summary: Great host, lovely cottage, clean river - all in all a perfect spot for extended family. We found all the decks and seating areas great to enjoy and spread out. The bunkie with a bed for two was great for extra comfort for the parents of young kids.

Summary: Stayed here with my family and was really impressed how clean and modern the inside of the cottage was! Every amenity was available for us to use and plenty of space to relax by the water or in the shelter of a gazebo. The river was clean and excellent for a dip. Overall we all had a great time and would definitely consider going back

Summary: We had so much fun! The river is lovely and warm. We had fun swimming and canoeing with little kiddos. Also biked into town (which is a trail for the whole trip) and got to watch boats going up and down on the locks and have ice cream. We had an awesome time and might try to stay again next year!

Summary: We had a great stay at this property in the summer of 2022 with several young kids. The cottage was clean and comfortable but would note there was not a dishwasher as the listing indicates. A few details were left to us to figure out on our own (where to take garbage leaving, how to access Netflix or other streaming services), but the hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries. Overall we had a really nice time and made good use of the expansive lawn, canoe and kayak, and outdoor eating spaces. Was a week to remember!

Summary: We found Vasile’s cottage while searching for locations in the Kawartha Lakes area. The checkin process was very smooth and the property was clean with lots of extra pillows and towels for use during our stay. The gazebo was great for outdoor meals and everyone loved swimming in the river which was clean. Just note that some days the river can be a bit busy with boat traffic. There is one 2 person canoe and kayak available for use which we also enjoyed. We enjoyed nightly use of the fire pit and noticed there aren’t as many mosquitoes as there might be in other places. Very close to Fenelon Falls for day trips. Nice antique shops in town and lots of stuff for the kids to do at the Fenelon Falls Museum. Overall an excellent stay!
