Summary: Just ok. Probably best hotel option in area however for the cost ( over $500 per night) I want more. The drinks were limited and sucked.... even bad beer options. Did not bother to eat here bc you can get bar food everywhere. South Padre is lacking luxury and its def not at Margaritaville.

Summary: I love the balcony view, especially when it is rainy and moody on the island. Stayed before the 4th crowds. It was enjoyable, but pool restrooms were a Titanic disaster! crowded, but doable. More staff was needed. The inhouse restaurant is always decent with reliable bar food. I like the beach access also. The rinse off showers need maintenance.

Summary: Overall, the experience was wonderful. I wish the breakfast buffet offered more options, but it was fine. The staff was amazing!! Justin our server at the restaurant was super helpful and accommodating.

Summary: There were several charges that were not mentioned when we made the booking through hotels.com. We discovered that parking is an additional fee, even though it was mentioned as being available during the booking process. It would have been beneficial if they had clearly stated that parking is an additional charge. There are also charges for using the swimming pool. We assumed that these charges were included in the room charges, as this is often the case when booking a resort.

Summary: You can hear the people in the room around you and in the hallways. The air conditioning unit is super loud. I was woken up by the people next to me talking super loud at 2:30 AM so I got a terrible nights sleep.

Summary: Was promised a pull out couch room didn't have one had to have family on a couch. There was no shampoo conditioner or body wash in rest rooms everything was way over charged. A week later and still waiting for pending charges to drop. Pool was dirty first day we were there looked brown. Kids had a great time happy for them I myself was frustrated with my stay

Summary: We had a wonderful time. Being so close to the beach was awesome after exhausting days in the sun. We enjoyed being able to get back to our room quickly to rest in between excursions. The Landshark restaurant was awesome, and we literally loved every meal we had there. Would definitely stay again the next time we're on the island.

Summary: Not worth the price and do not recommend! As soon as you walk into the hotel it has a foul smell. Self park is $15 per day even though it’s a far walk from the parking garage. Especially when hauling luggage. Along with the resort fee, you will be charged an additional $50 deposit. Our restroom smelled horrible and there were permanent brown stains. Even the pool restrooms smelled horrible so it must be a drainage problem. The hand wash container was empty and had not been refilled. You are not allowed to change the thermostat below 69 or higher than 72 or you will be charged! The pool was not as nice as shown in the pictures. The hotel is not that old yet it looks like it already needs updates.
