A very comfortable and fully equipped set in the courtyard of the 18th century in the Spout. Right in the heart of Lisbon. Our House is just a few minutes' walk from the Ribeira (Timeout Market), Rua de s. Paulo, Cais do Sodré, Bairro da Bica, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Commerce Square. You'll love our House, the location, the people, the neighborhood, the outside area, the light of Lisbon, the environment, and the comfort and care that our House passes. Will fall in love with Lisbon!
A very comfortable studio where you will find everything you need to spend a vacation, a weekend or a few days to meet Lisbon. An old Pombalina home inside a traditional courtyard full of memories of old times. The stories about it and neighborhood we will tell you when you arrive! Ground floor in the flat area of the city! Whenever you are here for you. To explain the best places to visit or walk, tours you'd like to do, advise the most typical restaurants, or just to chat and exchange experiences. Summary: The apartment had a musty and moldy smell that persisted despite the recommended use of an open door (did not feel safe for sleeping) and the dehumidifier. There is no window, only the front door. This is NOT an apartment suitable for someone with asthma or any breathing troubles. We left and paid for another accommodation in Lisbon. The apartment is NOT as described. The alleyway (not a courtyard) is a dark and decaying space without sunlight. There are cars parked in it. It is the back of several restaurants. The area, Cais do Sodré, is great, with good transport and lots of restaurants. This location is challenging. The apartment is NOT as large as listed. Although it says you get access to the « whole house» it is just a studio. To be fair it is elsewhere described as a studio. It is not « comfortable» as there are 3 plastic chairs to sit on, two small pillows. The kitchen is not functional (slow stove, wonky fridge, dirty walls, a few insects - not surprising given damp). Christina (or whoever is managing this flat) was extremely helpful when we locked ourselves out. I have had no response however since I indicated that I was leaving because of the state of the flat. No one, including Magda and Diogo, whose pictures are shown here, has responded to several messages.

Summary: This apartment is located in a nice area. There are many restaurants near by and the neighbors were very friendly. As a solo traveller, it is well equipped with everything I needed. The host was very responsive and quickly resolved any issues I was experiencing. Some items to note-there are no windows (other than the glass interior door) in the apartment, so it can be a bit dark at times. Also, there is a musty smell that seemed to linger even when using the air conditioner/dehumidifier. However, neither of these items affected my trip. The apartment was a great “home base” for my stay in Lisbon.
