Summary: The apartment itself was roomy and light with adequate but fairly sparse facilities. There is no view from the ground floor property - the picture is taken from the upper levels (exchange convenience for a view). The walk into town is fairly strenuous, especially at the start, and takes about 15 minutes. There is a row of good restaurants before getting to the town proper (through the arch). The town itself is lively with lots of shops, eating places, etc. The Greek-Roman Amphitheater is a must see. We drove from Palermo and left the car in the parking area ($8 per day). Overall, a good choice.
