Positive: I was in need of accommodation with a kitchen as close as possible to a wedding venue and this was the only one I could find to serve the purpose; I was delighted with my find. The hostess was an absolute treasure, making sure everything was ready and that we would be comfortable. The house is huge and set in a lovely location with plenty of land surrounding the house. The kitchen was superbly kitted out with quality equipment and everything you could possibly need.
Negative: Being a rural location the water was tank-based and the pumping system was not set up well, so that cycling while using the shower was annoying and made having a consistent water temperature impossible - and we are used to tank water and pumps. The accommodation cost was high, and so small things such as blind hems coming undone and sliding doors not being secure, as well as the television not working with free to air was annoying.

Positive: THe property was immaculate. There were extras in the kitchen that made cooking and staying in so much easier. The owner was so easy to deal with.

Positive: Great location, rooms were set up as per our needs and were very clean. It was great to know that host had bought a brand new fire pit as we requested for one. That was awesome.
Negative: There was no lock to the common bathroom and toilet.

Positive: The house was great and the host had thought of everything. There were toys and books for the kids, well equipped kitchen with eggs, bread and cereal left for breakfast. There were binoculars and lots of places to relax.
Negative: My only dislike was the outdoor area near the bbq needed the tiles cleaned as there had been spills on them and the grass was a bit overgrown and the garden needed a tidy up. Certainly not major concerns though.

Positive: We loved the cute cottage in the beautiful surroundings. We saw Eastern Rozellas and Crimson Rozellas in the gardens as well as kangaroos! We also enjoyed a brilliant Easter egg hunt. The cottage is a short drive from Blackheath which is a lovely town. The cottage was well stocked and very clean and comfortable.
Summary: A perfect weekend in the Blue Mountains.
