It is a large and comfortable villa of about 130 square metres, well ventilated and lit, with a 250 square metre garden, full of flowers and plants, a barbecue area and two outdoor showers, one of which is solar, an indoor parking area and the possibility of outdoor parking. The small villa, completely renovated in 2010, can comfortably accommodate 7/8 people. It is situated in a quiet area, in an ideal geographical context, very close to the sea; the beach is less than 200 metres away. The house is arranged on two levels: living area: large living room with kitchenette, pellet stove, two large verandas, bathroom - sleeping area: one double bedroom (with a third bed available and a cot); one double bedroom; one twin bedroom; bathroom, two small verandas, one with sea view. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Equipment: hairdryer, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, traditional oven and microwave oven, traditional and waffle coffee machine, satellite TV, CD/USB stereo, ceiling fan, mosquito nets on the windows, garden tables and chairs, sun umbrellas, deckchairs and beach beds, table football. Summary: We stayed for two weeks in Marcella's villa in Sa Rocca Tunda and it was amazing. First, the owners welcomed us like family and made sure every little detail was properly attended to. They have an impressive library of things to do, see and restaurants to dine at. We felt very plugged in. The home is spacious, adorable and very comfortable. It was always great to return "home" and relax after busy days! Marcella and her husband, Luciano are so very helpful and welcoming. They are true Sardinians!

Summary: Marcella offers a nice and fully equipped small house next to a lovely beach. There was some seagrass there, but there was always a free spot available. The house is clean and the kitchen has everything you need (minor downside: there is no huge oven, but more a microwave thing, but it worked to bake a cake). We where 4 adults with four kids below age 8. The house is not very very child friendly in the sense that toddlers cannot be unattended because there are stairs to climb or nice decoration to destroy. But that was not a big deal for us. Marcella was very caring and friendly and available for questions and recommendations.

Summary: Great house for max. 6 to 8 people, with fantastic beaches all around. Nice garden for kids, provides beach-equipment and all. Really enjoyed our time there, in the off-season really a quite spot to relax. Marcella, our host, took really good care of us.

Summary: Wonderful location for exploring this part of Sardinia. We were ‘out of season’ so gelato was challenging to find but it meant we had the local paradise beaches to ourselves. Some beaches had seaweed but others were perfect. Remember your wetsuit if visiting in April, the water is still cold!! Wonderful memories made for us all, and we’re already talking about when we’ll be back!!

Summary: The house was exactly as shown and described. Clean, great views and spacious. Macella was also very responsive when we had further questions during our stay. We had a wonderful holiday at this villa, the views were fantastic. The host was very helpful. We would love to go back one day!!!

Summary: Having decided for a quiet, relaxing beach holiday away from the hustle and bustle of big resorts, we were lucky to come across this wonderful property on Home Away - and what a find it was. Communication with Marcella has been great throughout the whole experience, right from the moment of the booking. She provided very clear directions prior to our arrival, and was there to meet us, together with Luciano and Sara - I'll have to say, they are the loveliest people you'll meet and fantastic, hospitable hosts. They greeted us with an assortment of welcome goodies (including one of the best cheeses you'll ever taste), and provided all the information we ever needed regarding local eating and shopping options. All in all, we couldn't be happier with them. The villa itself is very modern and comes with every amenity one might need, including dishwasher, washing machine, pizza oven, Wi-Fi and so on. You couldn't really ask for more. Its bedrooms were just the right size - we were 4 adults and 4 children, and the bedroom sizes were perfect - the kids loved sharing a bedroom. And speaking of the kids, having a fussball machine on the porch really helped to keep them entertained. The garden is stunning, and the outside solar shower is really something special - one of the coolest experiences we've ever had. The only downside are the mosquitoes that make an appearance in the evening - but that happens all over Sardignia. The hosts provided us with plenty of mosquito deterrents and we've mad very good use of them. There's also a bbq in the garden, and the hosts also let us borrow sun loungers, umbrellas, an assortment of beach toys and even bikes. The beach of Sa Rocca is only about 200 meters away, and it's just perfect for children - sandy, low depth for about 10 meters from the shore line, At the hosts' recommendations, we travelled to some other nearby beaches - Sa Messa Longa, Mari Ermi and Is Arutas being absolutely stunning examples, all within 25 minutes of drive time max. Food-wise, there are plenty of choices within a 20-minute drive radius, with a fantastic pizzeria (Entu & Sole) just 3 minutes away (lovely food, even lovelier staff and low prices). The closest good shops are in the nearby Putzu Idu, and while small, they're pretty well stocked - a piece of advice, do try the local bread, sweets and the excellent local beer - Ichnusa. Summing things up, we really loved our stay and a huge thank you to the hosts - they are great!

Summary: We spend two perfect weeks in the lovely home of Marcella and Luciano. Both were very supportive throughout our whole stay. They gave us a warm welcome when they handed over the apartment and explained everything there is to know, not only about their apartment but also about the area of the Milis peninsula. Even though they just speak Italian and we don't we got along perfectly fine as they had all the instructions prepared in English and German. Having spend four weeks in different areas of Sardegna before I can truly say that this apartment with its lovely little garden was the nicest we had. Unlike a few places we saw before it is furnished and equiped with high quality and lots of love for details which made us feel at home right away. There was nothing we felt was missing, instead there were quite a few unexpected extras like the bycicles, the beach games and the beach chairs. And for those who are interested in online communication: This was the first apartment with a perfectly working wifi connection which was in every way comparable to my wifi at home in Germany. Because it was the end of the season the little village of Sa Rocca Tunda was quite desolated when we arrived in the middle of October. As the apartment is close to the beach and in the middle of the little village which consists mainly of holiday apartments I can imagine that it will be alot more lively in the summer, but we loved it the way it was. It takes not more than 5 minutes by car to get to a small market in the next village and in about 10 minutes by car you reach the next supermarket in Riola Sardo. Having said that, you definetly need a car if you rent this apartment - but if you want a perfect holiday on Sardegna we would recomend that anyways. By the way, pizzerias/restaurants are at about the same distance and Marcella and Luciano have a lot of good recomendations. Besides the beach of Sa Rocca Tunda which is literaly 200 meters from the apartment there are plenty of more beaches around that can all be reached within less then 25 minutes by car.

Summary: We, 2 families with children, spent last week in October in this nice and very well equipped house. The weather was brilliant so we really enjoined having only 2 minutes walking to the sea, where the water was still warm enough for swimming and you have the whole beach for you alone. We were pleased to get a warm welcome incl. Sardinian delicatessen from Marcella and her husband.
