Located in the Marina neighborhood, a short walk to Palace of Fine Arts, Chestnut Street and Union Street restaurants, the Presidio, and Crissy Field.

THE SPACE
Modern, newly-remodeled private apartment located on the lower level of our house. There is a private, lighted entrance from the garden, so you don’t have hassle of complicated entry like some other listings where you have to enter through a garage or homeowner’s space. Deadbolt lock is opened by numeric keypad, so check-in is easy.
Walking distance to buzzing Chestnut and Union Streets, main streets of the best San Francisco neighborhoods (Marina and Cow Hollow) which are known for restaurants, nightlife, and boutique shops. In addition, it is close necessities including laundromat (0.2 mile away), 24 hour pharmacy (0.3 mile), urgent care (0.4 mile), supermarket (0.4 miles away), and Apple Store (0.5 mile).
Palace of Fine Arts and the Presidio are less than ½ mile away. Lyon Street Stairs, Crissy Field and Marina Green are short walk away and provide amazing views of Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco Bay.
Bedroom is 11’x12’ with a new queen bed, night tables, armoire, and 43” Samsung TV with over 80 HD cable channels including news & sports. Bedroom has a door for privacy from living room. Two can sleep in the bedroom.
Living room is 13’x18’ with a new queen sofabed and a sitting chair. It has another 43” Samsung TV with over 80 HD cable channels including all major news & sports.
There is a dining table with 4 chairs if the family needs a break from the amazing San Francisco restaurants or if you just need a table to work. There is a coffee maker, small refrigerator, microwave, plates & utensils for simple meal prep.
Great for a Workcation. You can stay connected with very fast Comcast/Xfinity Gigabit Extra internet service delivered through a mesh wifi eero placed in the apartment, or you can plug your own ethernet cable in.
Thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. MERV13 filters in furnace and additional HEPA air purifier in apartment for additional peace of mind.
Linens, towels, and toiletries are provided.
There's no complicated "check out" process; lock the door when you leave.
Near Muni bus stops 30X, 30, 41, 45, and 28 which will take you to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, North Beach (Little Italy), Chinatown, Union Square, the Financial District as well as to BART or Caltrain stations. There is also a Presidio Go stop ¼ mile away, which can take you around the Presidio or from the Presidio to downtown.
If you are bringing a car, parking in the neighborhood is free for 2 hours at a time on weekdays during the day time. There is no time limit for parking after 6p or weekends. Please read the street signs for specifics and pay particular attention to street sweeping times.
The Presidio is walking distance to the house and has many paid parking lots. The closest spots in the Presidio are just past the YMCA Letterman pool on Gorgas Ave or near the Presidio Social Club off Ruger Street. In paid parking areas of the Presidio, drivers must display an hourly or daily parking permit that corresponds to the zone number shown on posted signs. Permits can be purchased from a Pay-and-Display pay station. The cost for parking permits range between $2.50 - $3.00/hour and between $12.50 - $15.00/day. These prices are based on the location and day of the week. All pay stations accept credit and debit cards, and many accept coins but not bills.
There is also a pay parking lot at Pierce and Lombard Street.
Our family lives above this space, and neighbors have families. This cannot be a space for partying, gathering, or other disruptive activities:
- No smoking in unit or garden.
- No visitors
- Quiet time between 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
No animals of any kind. Those allergic to dogs & cats can take comfort that two people in this house are highly allergic to dogs & cats. We have taken special care to ensure there have never been animals in this unit.
