Positive: Nice location, friendly staff. Parking close/right outside. Nice dinner menu at the restaurant, food was good and well composed and cooked. Excellent wines for the asked price. I will visit again just because of the great food experience.
Negative: Frugal breakfast table, only one cheese etc. Room was not equipped with basic stuff like wine glasses, no bottle opener. No minibar or ice. Room door key was cumbersome to get working, took us minutes to get in every time.
Summary: Location and good dining compensates for other minor shortcommings. Nice place to stay.

Positive: Great location next to the harbor of a lovely small fishing town Simrishamn. We had a big room for our family of four facing the sea. The breakfast was not huge in terms of number of options as it is really a small hotel, but everything as fresh and really enough. Also they have a great fine dining restaurant downstairs.
Negative: There is no designated parking space, but you can park next to the hotel in the public parking lot for 2 hours for free at 9-18. It is free throughout the night, and we were out during the day, so it was no issue for us.

Positive: Lovely decor, stylish with quirky attention to detail and features reflecting the maritime history and location beside the harbour. Friendly efficient service. Excellent breakfast and evening meal, great use of quality local produce.
Negative: Just the lack of storage within some rooms but we were told that this is a work in progress as rooms are being renovated following takeover last year.
Summary: A really memorable stay in a quality intimate hotel.

Positive: The location was superb. Breakfast was good. Hosts were very nice.
Negative: For a 200+ euro room, the expectations were higher. The finishing of the room and bathroom was not to the level you would expect, the TV was not HD and there were no coffee or tea facilities.
