Positive: A nice, well equipped cottage. With two rooms, it’s also spacious.
Negative: So many flies when I arrived — I counted 9!! Made having dinner very uncomfortable with flies constantly buzzing around my dinner. As it’s a small property, it was difficult not to be bothered by the flies. Stayed in mid-July when it was warm, so flies are in the surrounding areas/farms, but perhaps insect nets should be put on the windows — I imagine windows are left open when cleaning after the last tenants, which is when I’m guessing they get into the property.
Summary: Comfortable stay in general, but windows need insect nets.

Positive: Location is not really in a village/town as such but easy to find and good base to explore the area including the RSPB Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Lighthouse area. The hosts David and Wendy were welcoming and good communication before our stay. The accomodation is set in old stables and has a communal central garden area which is lovely and great place to eat or drink or just enjoy the nice weather. Accomodation is well equipped to enjoy your time there.
Negative: There was no toilet paper on our arrival but after messaging David he was immediately apologetic and sorted out the issue.
Summary: Clean and well equipped accommodation. Great base to explore the surrounding area.

Positive: Nice cottage in this lovely complex. Central communal area well maintained to lots of tables & chairs when weather good. Cottage well appointed with comfortable settees, dining area and kitchen. Short drive to Flamborough head and Bempton cliffs for nature lovers. Greeted by friendly hosts on arrival.
Negative: The double bed was a little soft for us but that is only our preference and others may find it perfect.

Positive: The location was perfect for our visit to Bempton and Flamborough. The property had charm but was modern inside. Clean and well equipped. Loved the court yard outside. Convenient for Bridlington centre. Quiet with plenty of parking. Owners were on site and provided local knowledge on places to eat - fish and chips were excellent.

Positive: Location was great and the apartment had all the facilities we needed for a self catering stay. Lots of communication with the owners and even an app with full details and local information on. Clean, quiet, comfortable with a nice outside space too. Would definitely recommend.
