Old Mas de Provence, family house under the ramparts of the charming hilltop village of La Garde Adhémar.
Renovated and extended for the 2018 season, this 1840 family home was restructured in the 1970s, and has recently been extensively renovated and expanded.
In 2017, the attic had been converted to create a 7th bedroom.
In 2018, a bathroom was added to this dormitory (shower / wc / washbasin). and a new kitchen of 25m² was added, as well as the renovation of the living room which was enlarged
In 2019 two rooms on the 1st have already been renovated, the exteriors will be restructured
The stay will be enlarged of 15m ² of the old kitchen of 1970 and the farmhouse as a whole from 25m ² to 240m ²
The large living room is organized around a large table (12/14 seats) and a dresser as old as the Mas, as well as a second table (6 seats) to put in extension or separate service.
The living room with its beautiful old fireplace can accommodate guests comfortably (3 sofas + 2 armchairs)
The outdoor table on the shaded terrace to the west receives 18 people in several tables.
7 rooms: 4 doubles on the 1st floor plus the room 5, with a child's bed with bar and a simple bed (in antechamber of the room n ° 4).
On the 2nd floor, 2 large bedrooms under the eaves each with its own bathroom. One with a double bed and a single bed

The pool is secured by a barrier and an alarm. The terraced garden offers shady areas and very sunny areas with panoramic views of the Rhone Valley, the mountains of Ardeche to Mont Ventoux ...

Summary: The swimming pool was green with algea and very dirty. We could not use it . The kitchen was full of flies, which we spent a lot of money having to clean, buy fly spray, fly strip! The cleaning was very poor. Mattresses on beds stained. The house could be beautiful and is in a lovely setting. But is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in 3 years.

Summary: Had an excellent vacation in this property! The kids loved the house and the swimming pool. Eric, the owner, was extremely helpful both when we arrived and during the stay. The house had everything we needed and the people living in the village were so friendly, especially the local restaurants and the Epicerie. The views from the swimming pool and house, across the fields and all the way to Mount Ventoux, were fantastic. Really enjoyed the whole stay!

Summary: Gite magnifique dans un superbe village avec commerces, restaurants erc. L'espace est tres grand, amplement suffisant pour notre famille de 15 personnes. Le proprietaire a reagit tres rapidement a un ou deux petits problemes pendant notre sejour. Aucune hesitation a recommender ce gite. Amazing accommodation in a beautiful village with shops, restaurants etc. The space was more than sufficient for our family of 15 people. The owner was quick to respond to a couple of minor issues during our stay. No hesitation in strongly recommending this gite.

Summary: We were 16 people in the house ,4 under 13 ,2 under 18 . We enjoyed the pool a lot . The house is an old rustic French country house , no luxury . It is situated on the outskirts of a beautiful village on the top of the hill . The house has a wonderful view of the valley. The furniture in the living room are a bit worn which makes you relax when there are young kids around . The bed in the master suite on the top floor is very comfortable . It is hot under the roof but there are some fans to help cool it down a bit . In the kids dorm (5 beds ) there is a kind of airconditioner that cools it down and that helps a lot.no one complained about the beds so I think they were ok . There is also a crib for a baby . The bathroom in the master was worn but ok ,with a bathtub .2 other bathrooms were renovated and seemed fine . One of them small . There was a separate toilet close to the living room .The kitchen is very small and that is a drawback when there are so many people and we wanted to cook at home most of the time - once a day . (It was really hard to find a restaurant that would accept so many people . )There is space for 2 people but no more in the kitchen . We sat outside and prepared everything and then 1-2 people cooked the meal , that worked . The garden has a lot of shade which is nice when it gets hot . There is a ping pong table and the older kids really liked that . There is plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery . The area is fun with many quaint villages and small towns to visit . We went canoeing one day . The village itself has a couple of very cute restaurants but we were too many so they did not accept a reservation . Make sure you bring towels ! Otherwise there is an extra charge .We had a wonderful vacation and Eric is very helpful and accommodating .
