Positive: The view from our room and the majority of the hotel was absolutely stunning. The Valley it looks on is so naturally beautiful and the hotel fits perfectly with the setting. Our room was beyond my expectations with a lovely terrace and sun beds with the sun pretty much all day. The pool and facilities were lovely! We also very much enjoyed the food and had an amazing waiter (Gaultier) who couldn't have looked after us more.
Negative: We were there for a few nights around a wedding and found the hotel bar closed early on each night we got back, which I suppose is fine for guests who are there to relax, but I would expect to be able to get a drink at 10:45 at a hotel of this quality. We also had to wait at the gait for quite some time before the night porter let us in which wasn't great. Our room also had very bad water pressure in the shower and the plug didn't work in the bath, just small things but could be worked on.
Summary: Stunning hotel for someone looking to relax with amazing views over the French countryside!

Positive: The view from the terraces was stunning and the hotel is beautiful and in a very peaceful location with easy access to the surrounding villages to explore. We opted for a suite with a (semi) private pool, which was much larger than we had anticipated (15 strokes of breaststroke) and well equipped with everything you needed for your stay - shampoo, shower gel, etc was all fully stocked throughout our stay, hairdryer of good quality. Our room was lovely and spacious and full air-con apart from in the large bathroom, although this had a small window. Only disappointment was no dressing table, you needed to sit on the floor to use the hairdryer by a mirror (unless you wanted to stand to use in the bathroom - above a sink) and the pressure in the shower wasn’t great, albeit served it’s purpose. The Reception Staff were literally amazing going above and beyond to facilitate our needs. The majority of staff spoke excellent English and were all accommodating, attentive and very friendly. John in the bar deserves a special mention as he also went above and beyond to look after us, including staying on after his shift had ended to serve us. Food is very good, the entrees and desserts being exceptional. Room Service food was fine for a snack, the bar snack menu was good. Bistro lunch was similarly good but a limited menu. The spa was lovely, we both had superb massages and a lovely indoor pool to relax by, as well as a terrace. We booked for 7 nights. We would recommend and would return, but probably only for 2-3 nights.
Negative: The hotel has a conference room and unfortunately this was very close to our suite. Our suite also backed onto the service road. There was a large American party using this facility during our stay, including a number of children. The hotel staff are obviously mindful of disruption to other guests - a silent disco only seemed to be allowed - however use of the service road bringing in supplies for the party started at 7:30am, as did the gardeners who were using petrol power tools and mowers for a number of hours, in this area alone all morning! Unfortunately we could not get into the restaurant on the evening of the party (admittedly we hadn’t booked) so were left with room service. With a number of children still playing right outside our suite at 9:30pm, eventually I unfortunately had to ask if they could calm down a little. This was acted on really promptly by the staff, if not all the children! The staff could not have been more apologetic over our disturbance and we were led to believe that large parties are not a regular occurrence, but it’s perhaps worth checking if you’re planning a relaxing and peaceful stay. We cannot fault the staff, service was the best they could provide, however the restaurant and bar staff consistently seemed over stretched. There simply wasn’t enough of them to provide the level of service that they clearly wanted to provide. Breakfast in particular seemed understaffed but unfortunately we were frequently left waiting. To us the (apparently new) F&B Manager was unwelcoming and on one occasion in particular, unprofessional, he appeared to speak little, if any, English and did not seem to want to engage with us, to the point of being rude and unhelpful. Had he been more engaged in trying to make our experience a pleasant one he would have realised my partner spoke fluent French. Every other member of staff was exceptional. We would return, but for us the food is too limited to stay here for more than a few nights.
Summary: Stunning location, beautiful hotel with excellent staff, fabulous terrace restaurant for a special meal, highly recommen

Positive: Perfect location for trips out to Roussillion, Gordes and L’isle sur la Sorgue etc. Hotel has a gorgeous position on the hill side overlooking the Valley and the Luberon Massif. Beautiful modern stone buildings with terraces for drinks and dining, food was superb, both the Restaurant and the Bar food. Breakfast was buffet style and delicious, wonderful Salmon, also cooked aspects available on request. Lovely large Pool with Loungers etc, we visited in the unexpectedly high temperatures of about 38*+ and very little shade by the Pool, even with the Parasols as ‘the sun moves’ and the ambient temp was so high, even for locals. We did not use the Spa or Tennis Court (too hot), but Hotel is a lovely spacious, high quality property with good parking on site. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. Beautiful room-suite, very clean, comfortable and well decorated with all one could ask for, a pleasure to retire to, either to escape the heat or at night. Fabulous Air-Con, much needed in those temperatures. Welcoming and friendly yet professional staff. Thank you so much ‘Mas des Herbes Blanches’ for such a superb Room.
Negative: Nothing. Our only concern was it being so unusually hot, reaching about 38* during our visit. We used the Pool which was lovely, but found we had to leave to find full shade and lower temperatures, sooner than we would normally, but that is not the Hotels fault.
Summary: Beautiful, modern & relaxing, lovely Rooms and Pool. Perfect views & great for exploring the locale
