Negative: It’s a bit far and hard to get a taxi but the hotel provides taxi calling services very reliable

Positive: Excellent location of masseria at Pouzzoli countryside. Very nice staff and delicious breakfast (not typical italian) served by an older couple, who were very kind.
Negative: No complaints.

Positive: It's a magical place… The moment you enter through the main gate, you are in a bubble immersed with visual beauty, positive emotions, and classy taste. The property is built with impeccable attention to details, the entire place is a large well balanced piece of Italian art!! The staff is very lovely and genuine people reflecting the great Neapolitan culture :)

Positive: I stayed for a week at the Masseria, and I’m glad I did. The Masseria del Carmine Maggiore 1817 is a former Carmelite monastery and farmhouse complex that was converted in 2021 to its present form, a working farm and a bed and breakfast with every comfort, and brimming with charm. My room was very large, with views of the farm and the courtyard. The restoration preserved all of the ancient features, combined with modern luxury. Modern bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very clean, with daily service. The Masseria has an excellent restaurant. The included breakfast offers amazing baked items, cheeses, meats and eggs, and coffee. The grounds of the farm provide walking trails all around the pastures, where you can inspect the vineyards, and appreciate the farm animals. There are Roman ruins to be seen on this property. An Ideal spot in which to launch daily excursions. There is a bus stop at the street and a local train stop nearby, but I had a rental car, and was glad I did. The entire staff at the Masseria is professional and friendly, very kind and helpful. Mrs. Grazia was an excellent hostess. Antonio on staff, who is retired from a career at the historic excavations at Herculaneum, was so generous to share his experience about the ancient ruin, of which he is completely and enthusiastically knowledgable on every detail. Ciro, the sweet pointer dog, a rescue, will keep welcome you. A wonderful respite tucked into an ancient volcanic crater.

Positive: Lovely artwork and creative lighting in the spacious bedroom. Wonderful selection of wines. Good variety of locally produced food for breakfast, plus fresh croissants. Tasty coffee, so one may need a couple of cups! A very pleasant courtyard in which to eat at leisure.
Negative: Not much on the negative side - a few more hooks in the bedroom/bathroom would help, as would a proper drinking glass. It was a bit busier than we thought, as the restaurant is popular with locals. But noise levels at night were acceptably low, at least during our stay.
Summary: A comfortable crater farmhouse good for exploring the Pozzuoli area!
