Summary: our experience began with trying to locate the property, which is basically an unmarked Road off of another Road. Having driven past the Trail several times, I finally decided to venture through and GPS did lead me to the property. It is in a secluded area and extremely safe with virtually no neighbors. it is very rustic as described. There is a central house and for smaller houses creating a quad. The smaller houses were very large bedrooms each with its own bathroom and comfortably appointed. The backyard a sebaceous although there was no hot tub. The main house area was full of many relics and interesting paintings however, the furnishings appear like they were purchased from a thrift store. While the property lists itself as friendly, it really should've said "friendly. pet", as there is a resident cat on the premise. We didn't mind at all however, if you're considering renting this property and have an allergy to dander, you may wish to reconsider. 3 of the 4 burners on the stove in the kitchen were working. Unfortunately, there is no way to like to stove. There were 3 igniters that were present, but they have run out of gas and did not work. There is a working dishwasher, however. There was one television in the main seating room which worked nicely however, no audio system for playing music. convenient to many attractions, but not worth the money paid

Summary: We were a group of 13 and were 100% thrilled. The villa was ready upon arrival, we had ordered a catered dinner the night of arrival and we ate everything! The host was helpful and available throughout our stay. The pool was lovely during the heat wave and Mauricio the handyman was there daily to service the grounds. Garden available for amazing vegetables! Fig trees everywhere! As a 15th century building, it has its quirks, but rooms were furnished tastefully, beds were comfortable and this couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. Located minutes from the beach and within an hour of Gallipoli (highly recommended). We will definitely be back. One detail would be helpful is a photograph of the driveway (hard to find) from both directions before arrival. However, once found, you have struck gold!!

Summary: What an elegant property! The photos don’t do it justice at all! The property is absolutely perfect! There is a fruit and vegetable garden... and u can get fresh tomatoes, basil, eggplant, chilli and more. The four main rooms are elegant. It is restored to its original feeling, but with modern requirements. The rooms a tad dark at night, but that didn’t bother us. We had 2 lovely dinners in the house by the pool. Cooked by a chef recommended by Vincenzo... (if you want that— stick to the beef, or eggplant parmigiana for main). The property is immaculate and well taken care of. The pool is cleaned daily..... Vincenzo took good care of us, and stocked up the fridge with breakfast food before we came and Puglia wine. He made some excellent recommendations..?(bar nobile in San cataldo for breakfast, and lido York for beach and yummy Lunch). And he recommended some lovely towns around to visit and beaches. We were 2 families....with four children and enjoyed it tremendously... we would definitely go back. The property is so peaceful and beautiful..... Thank you for a lovely holiday! Dina

Summary: This property was absolutely AMAZING!! The hospitality we received from the moment we arrived till the moment we left was first class. I learned the phrase "casa tua" meaning "your house" and that's exactly how Vincenzo, Carina and Emmanuel made us feel during our stay. Because of the central location, we were able to visit so many beaches and towns on both coasts and saw so much of what puglia had to offer. There was more than enough sleeping room for my family (2 adults, 4 kids) and friends (2 adults , 1 kid) and 1 of the 4 bedrooms was not even used. Breakfast Made fresh every morning by Emmanuel was a great surprise and the spread was outstanding. I can't say enough good things about this trip. Gratzie, Gratzie, Gratzie a te Vincenzo!

Summary: Lovely masseria (farm home) about 10 minutes from the center of Lecce. Pluses are that it is quiet and a bit off the beaten track, but also an easy drive to many of the Puglia sites. The main bedroom is very spacious and the other 2 bedrooms are adequate. Negatives are no washing machine, kitchen is a bit small , and pool is unheated (so that swimming in early June can be a challenge). Furnishings are adequate but not high end. The owner Vincenzo makes a great effort to be accommodating and the folks who manage the property for him are very available to answer all questions and help out. . He arranged a chef one night for us who was fantastic.
