Summary: Great location and the space was larger than I expected with a second floor with two beds room and a bathroom. Perfect for the eight of us. I really like the low key no frills space. Right in town and very accessible. I would stay there again.

Summary: The location is great, the property is as advertised and has a multitude of bedrooms which is great. The kitchen and facilities are fine given the price point. So why am I deducting stars? While initial communication with the property manager was fine the communication during and after our stay was, weird. I didn't mind that we saw and reported a mouse during our stay, and the property manager said they would take care of it after we left, but the post-script to our check-out was bizarre. We pride ourselves on being excellent guests and we always budget time to clean up after ourselves. When we left the kitchen was cleaned (including cleaning some pots and pans that were extremely dirty, someone had clearly burned pizza on one, when we arrived) all the bedrooms and common rooms had been put back to order, and while I'm sure they had to to do some light cleanup the apartment was not that different from when we arrived. Then we got a message saying that the cleaners found the place a total mess, had to work extra hours to cleanup, and they had to throw away pans that were "ruined". These allegations were frankly absurd. The property manager told us he would not be charging us an additional $80 as we had been "good guests", but the accusations and unacted upon threat of charges left a bad taste in all our mouths. The consensus of our group was that he was trying to manipulate us into leaving a better review by seeming magnanimous, which obviously backfired. The property itself is fine, but make sure to document and take photos when entering and before leaving the apartment lest you too are accused.

Summary: It was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the area with cafés and restaurants. The TV monitor did not work well and the door knobs were not secure in place. Please have them replaced because my daughter door closed and she was not able to get out of the room until someone open the door knob. This would be not acceptable in case of an emergency evacuation plan.

Summary: Perfect for a family with grown adults. Bedrooms for everyone. We loved the breakfast place across the street! Beds were all lovely. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to the local rules, but with our hosts help we made it work.

Summary: We stayed here for four days during an athletic event we were competing in, in nearby Malvern. The location of this property made things very convenient, with access to all major stores and markets only a few minutes away by car, as well as highway access to get to the event venue. In town, the convenience of a few local eateries and the bar made for additional foot travel activities in the evening. One small hitch was that we arrived at the tail end of a heat wave; a previous reviewer mentioned the lack of Air Conditioning in the one room with the King bed, and it was unfortunately still a significant issue. I reached out to Russell quickly and by the time we discussed the idea of getting a portable AC unit installed, the stores were already closed for the evening. We agreed that a unit should be installed the next day, and after suffering a thoroughly uncomfortable evening of sleep, by the time we arrived back at the property around 5pm, the brand new unit was working hard to cool the room. This single change made the stay drastically more pleasant; hopefully our suffering the one night ensures all future guests in that room are comfortable going forward. The one quirk we had with the property, is not the owners fault directly; the parking situation in this town is pretty atrocious. In trying to keep a 'small town' feeling, they pretty much ban all overnight parking nearby. This creates a HUGE problem with any larger groups that stay here. (we ended up having five vehicles in our group) The property includes a single parking permit for guests but it doesn't apply to parking adjacent to the property. We ended up having to talk directly with the local PD to explain our situation, and they gave us permission to park our cars overnight on a nearby street within two minutes of walking distance. (even though that area is posted as a 4 hour max and no overnight) I don't know if this is a typical thing for them to grant, or if they made an exception for us, but keep this parking complication in mind if you will have multiple vehicles. (Something I would think is common for a house that can accommodate up to ten guests) All in all, I'd give this property a 4.5 stars if I had the option. The location is really great, and once the AC unit issue was resolved, we experienced an excellent and memorable trip. If the town would get the parking nonsense sorted out, I think the local commerce could really do well and grow.

Summary: We had a fabulous time visiting our family in Swarthmore! The property is clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen looked well equipped, but there were many delicious and fun dining options that we didn’t use it. The location is awesome. Nestled in the quaint town center and close to everywhere we wanted to visit. The host reached out to us prior to our trip and was responsive to our questions. We look forward to staying at this property again.

Summary: My bridesmaids and I stayed at Russels property the night before my wedding and got ready there in the morning. The home is beautiful and the location offers everything we needed for our short stay. There are bars, restaurants, and a Dunkin Donuts right on the block of the property. We ordered pizza from across the street and it was delicious! There were air conditioners in almost every room except one. Since we stayed in mid-July, the lack of AC in one bedroom was frustrating. Two of my bridesmaids stayed in that room and, when they turned on the fan provided, they blew a fuse. After figuring out where the breaker box was, we fixed the issue. I reached out to Russel to let him know if the issue and never heard back. Would have liked more consistent communication since this could have turned into a bigger problem than it was. Overall, we had a great time and the home was beautiful.
