Summary: Hi! We really enjoyed Montrose and the Black Canyon. I did have a big issue with the interior stairs of this house. They are very narrow and steep. I am 68 and have had 3 knee replacements. My friend is 82. We both restricted our fluid in take in the evening as we were terrified of dealing with the stairs. With stairs like that, a picture should have included them.

Summary: The location of the Mayor’s Hideaway is so nice! It’s just a short walk to the grocery store and all the restaurants and bars in downtown Montrose. The house and the neighborhood are both very quiet and charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Allie was quick to respond when we had a question.

Summary: lovely little place for a home away from home ! and loved that our little dog was welcome also. honestly fell in love with the charm of this old home with the rock foundation. know there is a lot of history coming from those walls. even tho I didn't give 5 stars across the board, I absolutely have no complaints about this rental. I just feel there is always room for improvement ... thanks for a wonderful stay !
