Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel nestled in the mountains, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the crisp, refreshing mountain air and stunning views all around. The weather was perfect throughout my stay, making it ideal for exploring the many trekking options nearby—there’s a trail for every level, and each one offers breathtaking scenery. One of the highlights was the local food served at the hotel. Every meal felt like a comforting taste of home, prepared with care and authentic flavors. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventure. What really set this place apart, though, was the warmth and hospitality of both the hotel staff and the people in the town. Everyone I met was genuinely friendly and always ready to help, making me feel welcome from the very first day. If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain getaway with amazing trekking, delicious home-style food, and the friendliest people, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Positive: I had a very pleasant stay at Mcleodganj diaries Guesthouse. The room is very comfortable and clean with a magnificent view of the mountain. The guest house is located in beautiful village of Naddi and is ideally located for the departures of the tracks and 4km from the residence of the Dalai Lama. you can get there easily on foot, by bus or taxi. Pawan will explain everything to you because he is very attentive to his guests and always ready to help. I can only recommend this address. Thanks again to Pawan for his kindness and his help which was of great help to me because I was ill during my stay, but Pawan gave me the medicines. He is the best person we have met in India. He helps you, he advises you, he solves your problems, he's charming, he looks for what you need. A ten as a professional and a person. That alone makes the hotel more valuable.

Positive: The room was a good size, with a large bed that was comfortable, with bedding of a high standard. Great room with a TV and an electric fire, so warm and cosy. Even if you are miles away from your family it’s like being in a family here. Pawan, who runs Mcleodganj Diaries, is a very kind and caring host. I arrived at 6am of a night bus from Delhi where you’re dropped in the dark at a garage. That can be a daunting prospect but Pawan made arrangements so I could be met from the bus and taken to the Guesthouse and stayed in contact. He goes above and beyond to be caring to guests. The guesthouse is in Naddi village, which is relaxed with great mountain views, and only a pretty 3km walk to Mcleod Ganj or 5 minutes by taxi or rickshaw. Pawan will arrange anything that you need.
