A private beach cottage perched on a small hill at the end of a private culdesac is the most picturesque Cape Cod get away you could imagine. The yard is flooded with rose bushes, lilly's and hydrangeas, with front and back decks to enjoy the beach views or back yard BBQ. The gas grill and Traeger grill, side by side, have ocean views and are situated next to the large fire pit which is surrounded by white Adirondack chairs. Walk inside to a bright airy kitchen with stunning ocean views, a wood fireplace, a white Yamaha piano, and an open concept living room. The master bedroom with has oceans views, a private entry to the front porch and two bathrooms that can be divided, inclusive of a 6FT claw foot tub, walk in steam shower, and a bidet!! Closet and dresser available, with a mini split facing the bed, for a cool room at night. The upstairs bedroom is private, with stunning ocean views from the second floor, a half bath with a washer and dryer, and an open hanging closet with luggage racks and a full mirror/dresser unit.
Access to a private beach. Owner provides chairs, umbrellas, beach bags, toys, and paddle boards.
Basement has a washer/dryer unit, a refrigerator and a lobster pot for guests to use!

Summary: This was a great place for a fall get away in an area I have never been to. It was a great home (one of the few I found with King Size beds). We had a fox come visit two morning which was cool. This was a nice quiet neighborhood away from the traffic at the bridge. Yet convenient for a day trip to Boston, Nantucket, Cranberry Bogs, Golf. We only had to go over the bridge for a few activities. I can’t say enough about Tracy. She was nice enough to work with us and was always helpful in communicating. We were coming from North Carolina and the other couple from Chicago and we all had a great fall week.

Summary: Our family had a great stay here and made wonderful family memories. The kids loved the claw foot tub, fire pit, and yard and the parents especially loved the kitchen and early morning walks on the beach. Owner was very responsive to all questions.

Summary: Wow! This little house has had the most beautiful renovation, and the elegant and comfortable furnishings and equipment take it to the next level. It was a delight to have a real kitchen in a seaside rental, with top-notch appliances, cookware and dishes. We loved both the ocean-view porch and the forest-view porch for relaxing outside. The beach is right down a short path, and very pretty at sunset. The only things that would have added to our comfort were bedside tables in the primary bedroom and a reading light in the living room. Thanks for a great, relaxing weekend!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Our kids loved playing in the large backyard, especially perfect for our little one who was just learning to walk. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Just remember to bring your beach towels/chairs/umbrella! We were lucky to have family nearby we could borrow from.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this cute beach house. The house has a great location — close to private beach and Megansett beach, with ocean views. The kitchen and bathrooms are particularly nice, and the open concept is great. While the indoor space is cozy, the large yard, two decks and fire pit make the property feel larger. We had everything we needed to feel comfortable, as the owners paid attention to these details. Very much recommend for couples or small families!

Summary: This is a beautiful home that looks exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed the osprey, quick walk to the beach, ocean views, beautiful landscaping, fire pit area, and luxurious bathrooms. One nitpick: there are no window coverings in the main living area (bedrooms are fine) so it lacks privacy after dark. In short, if you like what you see in the listing, you will be pleased with your stay. I would recommend this home 100%.

Summary: From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted. The home is perfectly situated in a small neighborhood overlooking Buzzards Bay. The home is light and airy and very well maintained and appointed. A pair of ospreys arrived as we did and our morning coffee was spent watching them begin nest building. Plenty of quiet roads and beaches to walk on. We love to cook and found the kitchen and grill easy to work with. We will definitely want to revisit this lovely home.

Summary: We had a wonder winter getaway. The location of the house is great, tucked away in a serene little neighborhood, up on a little hill, with views of the water from every room & only a 2 minute walk down a perfect path to a private beach. We used the fireplace & we’re lucky enough to use the fire pit outside. We sat and had coffee on the front deck. Enjoyed the gigantic sofa. Both bedrooms are great & the main one has a bathroom that essentially becomes 2 (one with a tub & toilet & the other with a shower and toilet) & the upstairs has a half bath. The main bathroom is incredible with a huge claw foot tub & a steam shower! The house is a cute, modest cape that has been thoughtfully refurbished with great attention to the kitchen & bathrooms. A quick drive to a couple of the local towns. We did have one very minor issue but the owner was super responsive & had it resolved in literally no time at all. Easy check-in & check-out! That’s for a relaxing escape!
