Positive: Free off-street parking. The house met us with warmth and a fresh fruit basket. Condaments in the fridge were also a nice touch. The kitchen is very comfy. A number of board games and books are available. We requested an extra heater and received it promptly. We were able to extend our checkout to 1 pm at no charge. The mattress/bed in the bedroom was comfy, even if on the small side for sleeping 2. The availability of laundry was a nice bonus.

Negative: The sofa mattress could use an upgrade. On the cold winter nights, a little extra warmth would be nice: more/warmer runners/carpets, upgrading windows and bathroom exhaust system, or just additional heating might be a good idea.

Summary: A nice place to stay in Keflavik, if you want a more homey experience.

Positive: Megiiceland is THE best place to stay next to the airport. Our hosts were very helpful and very friendly! The basement of the house is very comfortable and very very clean. You will find everything you need for cooking your own meals. Two bedroom with nice deco, good mattress and individual blankets. The bathroom is also very clean with all commodities.

Positive: How well equipped it it! So many details, fruits on the table, cereals, juices in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom…very very nice :)

Negative: The extended sofa that served as a second bed is not really usable for sleeping, not comfortable at all, squeaking with every move you make. :/

Positive: We liked so much about the property. The host is awesome and was very attentive to questions. The place is small but they have thought of everything and the apartment is outfitted very well. Everything is there that you will need for a stay. Very easy accommodation to get into after a hard day of travel or the night before you leave.
