Positive: Amazing stay here as we did a camping trip overnight in the islands. This host was very kind and the breakfast was such an amazing spread of fresh and delicious fruit. Best breakfast we had in 5 weeks. Bed was comfortable and room was nice!

Negative: Would have been nice to have a few board games or the ability to buy beer on premises as it would have made more of a communal aspect. Bad mosquitoes so could do with some burning spirals.

Summary: Camping on islands was amazing.

Positive: The positive side of this accommodation is that at breakfast they serve a truly enormous amount of fruit, which somewhat improves the overall impression of the stay.

Negative: Since there are practically no accommodations in this town that would meet the tastes and expectations of Western guests, it is difficult to write an honest review, as it feels like criticizing one of the few available options. Unfortunately, the truth is that the place is really neglected and that at least some effort could have been made regarding functionality and hygiene. One might try to justify it with authenticity, but the accommodation is simply neglected, without any attempt at even minimal repairs or improvements.

Positive: Mentos was really helpful throughout our stay. He arranged boat tours for us at reasonable prices and the tour was so amazing that we decided to go on the same tour the very next day although we hadn't planned to do so. As for the room, the bed was comfortable and the room had AC, which was great since it was pretty hot while we were there even though it was rainy season. There was also more than enough space to hang our clothes and wet towels. Similar to all the other reviews, breakfast was also amazing. I looked forward to the fruit platter each morning.

Negative: The water from the sink was almost non existent and it would be nice if it worked better. There was no hot water, which wasn't a problem for us because we knew that this would be the case.

Summary: Comfortable stay at unbeatable prices

Positive: The location was very good, close to the harbour and the restaurant. Mentos and his family are such nice people and very helpful. The Fruit platters in the morning and even in the afternoon were phenomenal.Overall, we had a pleasant experience with Mentos and his family—they were warm, welcoming, and made us feel at home

Negative: That said, there are some areas where improvements could make the stay much better: Mattress: It wasn’t very comfortable, and a more supportive option would enhance the quality of sleep. Mosquito Net: While appreciated, the net over the bed felt quite claustrophobic and could be designed in a way that feels less enclosing. Bathroom: Unfortunately, it wasn’t as clean as expected. Additionally, there was no hot water or soap provided, which was disappointing. Towels: The towels didn’t dry well and didn’t feel absorbent, which made them less practical. These issues aside, we enjoyed the hospitality and the overall atmosphere of our stay. With a few adjustments, this place has the potential to offer an even better experience for future guests!

Positive: Perfect stay for Riung! Mentos welcomed us with fruit and coffee ...we booked directly the 17 Island trip with him. Had a great day exploring the islands. 8 AM - 5PM. Snorkelkng, seeing the Bats...get a deliciois fish from the grill and could adopt the tour to our speed. Can fully recommend the stay! Be prepared with Cash! AtM broken for a while ...no help expected soon. Next ATM 1 hour away!
