Positive: Semi rural vibe, while being a walk to trains to Liverpool or other Wirral towns. Cosy property perfect for cooking and film nights…plus Pam was a fab host.
Negative: Only minor point would be the shower, which was a bit temperamental- occasional patience required.

Positive: The lodge is absolutely stunning, set within a lovely and quiet area of Meols. Pam was very helpful in us organising our travel, and nothing was too much bother. The lodge was immaculate, and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for a self catering break. Highly recommend.

Positive: So peaceful and restorative. Private and surrounded by fields and country hedgerows but I always felt very safe and secure. Had everything that I needed for my stay. Spotlessly clean, spacious enough for myself and one other adult I was staying with. Having the deck and grass area made it feel even bigger. I looked forward each morning to looking for the local bird life and listening to the horses. Extremely well equipped with everything I could need and more. Very inviting. Just the right amount of furniture which was all very comfortable and practical. Comfort of pillows and beds were great and helped with recovering from Jet lag. Aesthetically pleasing and carefully thought out design interior and exterior Great location. Short Walking and driving distance to beach and local cafes. 20 minutes walk or 5 -10 minutes in the car to the local railway station which I used regularly to quickly travel in to Liverpool. The welcome basket of bread, cereal and eggs etc was very much appreciated and enjoyable. Most of all was the friendly, welcome and kind hosts Pam ( who I got to meet in person) and Bob too who maybe I will meet next time as I am already planning a return trip. Pam's communication from when I first contacted her before I left New Zealand was so clear and helpful and nice that I was already looking froward to meeting her. She was so supportive and informative and accommodating and did even extra to help out with the logistics of me arriving after a long flight. When I first saw the information about the lodge on the Booking.com website it had everything that I was looking for In fact I was wondering if when I arrived whether it would be as good as I had imagined it would be..It was even better! I am so glad that I booked to stay. Nga mini Nui, A huge thanks for everything

Positive: Very remote which was peaceful location. Cleanliness was good indeed 💯. Enjoyable stay ! Seeing horses nearby was nice as my partner loves animals.
Negative: The bathroom we found a bit small as my partner struggled as he disabled.the bed found a little on the high side comfy otherwise.
