Positive: It was close to the beach. Perfect location. WIFI was really good. And in general we had a good time.

Negative: Every move we made in bed it made a sound. If one needed to go to toilet in middle of the night the other would wake up because of the noise the bed made. There was a "nightstand" on my side that was a plank attached to the wall which was pointing down a bit so could not put anything on it as it would slide off. There were no little litter bins in the bathrooms. Very annoying! The coffee machine was broken. There were stools on the little balcony which were terrible to sit on. The pictures on Booking looked better than it was in reality. The frying pan in the kitchen was badly scratched it wasn´t usable. They offered a parking spot but that wasn´t underneath the building. Was quite a walk away.

Summary: Good for a couple of day.

Positive: The property is well presented, clean, bright, spacious, comfortable and for the most part well equipped. The location of the property is perfect, everything is within walking distance, there is plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee stops and shops very near to the property, including a very good large supermarket for all your provisions.

Negative: We had booked to stay in the property for a month. We noticed that there was an iron but no ironing board, this we overcame minor hiccup. However, the response from the agency and owner was very disappointing. We sent three messages and spoke to the agency twice over the first two weeks, on each occasion they told us to go and look for the board as it was there. It wasn't. After three weeks we were informed by the agency that the owner would message us to arrange a visit with a new ironing board. This did not happen. The changeover of clean bedding was a bit hit and miss. The first week we had to chase the agency, the second week we laundered the sheets etc ourselves, the third week we waiting in the property at a time agreed with the agency and there was no show, we received a message later that evening when we were out for dinner. We declined the offer of sheets.

Summary: We had a great stay in Meraki Home for a month and really embraced the local community and all it had to offer.

Positive: Perfect location. Newly renovated, bright, spacious and very clean apartment. Comfortable beds, ample wardrobe space. Well equipped kitchen (although we didn't cook - too many good restaurants in Puerto).

Negative: Road was a little noisy at times, but not a problem for sleeping as bedrooms are not at front of property. Although the beds were very comfortable, the pillows weren't (too soft and lumpy for our liking).

Summary: Very enjoyable stay right in the middle of Puerto with everything on your doorstep. Would return.

Positive: Everything quite new, spacious, and furnished with taste. Everything was directly around the corner.

Negative: One has to be aware of the fact that the apartment is located in midst the city center, which means that the street can be a but noisy especially at weekends.
