Positive: Location but also finished to a very high standard. It’s our second time staying at Mercia house.
Negative: Only thing I could say is in the back bedroom opposite the main bedroom, there was a humming / buzzing noise which I think was coming from the boiler / hot water tank but it is very slight and is the only thing I could say I didn’t like.

Positive: This is truly a spectacular property to stay in. The mix of old and new is lovely, it's really well decorated and perfectly furnished, and all the bedrooms were very comfortable (although be warned there is light traffic which makes the front bedroom a little noisy). It has a lovely warm deck at the back and a great communal area, and plenty of space for a large party to spread out. The property is also ideally located for local walks and Sudley Castle, and within easy reach of shops and local pubs.
Negative: Unfortunately we noticed the dishwasher was broken and leaking when we arrived. Despite immediately raising it with the housekeeper/host, no-one came round to fix it, and the constant mopping up of water became a stress for us over the few days we were at the property. In the end, we were very happy to leave, which was a shame as the property is so lovely.
Summary: Beautiful mix of old and new (a new dishwasher would make it perfect)
