Positive: Totally run down a bit like a slum room. Old faded paint chipped walls. Worn out old ugly furniture. It’s very creepy. I needed a low cost room to sleep a few hours while driving. It was $93.00 so very cheap rate.
Negative: I didn’t like it, at all. Almost left for a different hotel but would have lost my money m.

Positive: Steve was very friendly and welcoming. The proximity of this location to things I wanted to do was nice. I was able to drive to most places in just a few minutes. One of the days of my stay, I chose to walk to the attractions, and it only took about 30 minutes to get all the way down to the Bridge of Lions. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable.
Negative: The road noise was extremely loud. I use a white noise machine when I sleep, and it still couldn't drown out the noise from the road/train tracks outside. There were also tiny ants in the bathroom.

Positive: The room was spacious clean mostly upgraded with nice kitchenette, comfy bed. Great value for the money.
Negative: The pool was very small and warm. The location was definately not walking distance to historic part of town. It’s a busy road. But It’s still very close by car.
Summary: Well kept cute older motel. Clean updated rooms. Great value for the price.
