Positive: Loved its unique cosy style Definitely book in at the restaurant and secure your table it’s exceptional the head chef and staff are great The brekkie was so lovely homemade local produce style very fresh make sure you find the sneaky biscuit tin in the kitchenette There’s a great walk right outside the hotel boats lovely homes gardens and flowers

Positive: I had advised the Merrijig Inn earlier in the day that, due to train mishaps, I would be arriving later than previously advised. Upon my arrival, the complete staff were absolutely adorable. Making sure I had something to eat, something to drink, ensured I was relaxed and didn't need to feel bad about them making sure I was being taken care of. Very genuine human beings. I had the best time, food and glass of wine. Everything about the Merrijig Inn has the feeling of caring about people, in such a deliberate, personal way. I was in awe of the Inn itself. The next morning was a continuation of the night before. Breakfast had everything beautiful and delicious. Different people, also adorable. It was magic. I loved everything, have their printed information from there and will 100% be sharing my experience around my town and beyond, also being genuine and full of enthusiasm. I could go on with more, it was so so so that good. The feel and look of the whole place, inside and gardens and surroundings give the feeling of belonging and wanting more.
Negative: I didn't like leaving.

Positive: The highlight of our stay were the hosts Liz and Tanya and their staff. We were immediately welcomed as though we were family. I should also mention the breakfasts and dinner. Cooked by Tanya and served by Liz. Exceptional!
