Positive: The genuine feel of a comfortable, pleasant hotel was what I liked the most. The dining facilities reflect the same feelings along with a very attentive service provided by all the staff.

Negative: The location was a bit difficult for a traveler who has never been in the area before . The website should emphasise the hotel is located on the highway.

Negative: Our room which was in the castle turret and lots of steps and no lift. We were not informed of this when booking and were instructed by the reception staff that we should have quoted no as steps when booking....... There are steps (a few) and there are lots of steps. There is a difference. So not very happy with that.

Negative: Fridge did not work - really annoyed as we had items that needed a fridge. I complained but staff didn’t care. He said fridge would get cold once key in but absolutely didn’t make any difference. Colder outside than the fridge.
