Summary: A longtime friend of mine came out for a visit after being away for 8 years. We hiked in the morning and drank wine by the magical Metolius on the cabin deck wrapped in blankets at night. It's a wonderful porch and spacious cabin for 2. The kitchen is the best outfitted kitchen I have ever been in for a VRBO property. Everything was organized and easy to find. Beds comfy. Birds were active and entertaining to watch in the morning on that porch (again!) while having morning coffee. Love this spot. Love the cabins here.

Summary: The location and cabin were perfect for a long weekend with family. We hiked several trails in the area that you can walk to or a short drive. Cabin was clean and well appointed. The view of the river made for relaxing on the deck ideal. A short drive to Sisters for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: What a great way to spend the week of the Sisters quilt show. One of my all time favorite places and i can’t imagine staying anywhere other than Metolius River Resort. I sure miss the Kokanee though!

Summary: This cabin is 75’ from the river, and you can hear the rushing water from any room in the house. It’s very well fitted out; nothing you need is lacking. It’s also a 2-minute walk to the Camp Sherman store in the event you forgot to bring something. Their fly fishing store is top notch too. Best of all, the place is very well run by Logan, the on-site manager who is always around if you need something. We will definitely be back again!

Summary: The cabin exceeded our expectations: comfortable (including the beds — which is rare in many rentals), nicely furnished, and with an unusually well equipped kitchen (great if you're planning on doing some cooking). The view from the deck is fabulous and you're just a few minutes walk from the Camp Sherman store (not to be missed). Logan, the caretaker, was super friendly and helpful, especially with recommendations for some great local hikes.

Summary: Just spent a long weekend at the Metolius River Resort cabins in camp Sherman. Cabin was very comfortable, clean with a well set up kitchen and cozy fireplace. The staff that cares for the cabins are very friendly and accommodating! Same for the very friendly people who work at the camp store a short walk away. We originally planned to snow shoe and ski, but with the sunny weekend we enjoyed some incredible hiking.
