Looking for a warm and welcoming place to rent in southern Sweden.
Look no further!
This housing is situated by a blooming forest next to a medieval castle.
A very charming accommodation with one larger room, fitted with a king size bed, which we easily convert into two single beds if you’ll find that more "comfy", dining table, wifi and tv and a small room with a bunk bed.
The cottage, which is situated close to a bigger house where we live with our three dogs, also has a small kitchenette with two cooking plates, kitchen fan,Airfyer ,freezer,fridge and a washer. If you’ll need an oven you are welcome to use mine. A small bathroom with a shower.
You will have access to a nice terrace with a grill and gas heater and you are free to use the beautiful garden.
You can stay in the garden or do beautiful hikes or biking in the woods and surroundings or down to beach which you easily reach walking or biking.
It’s about 3 kilometres.
3 bikes are included in the rent.
The castle and its wonderful garden is shown special days throughout the summer by its owner.
Many nice golf courses and tourists attractions nearby, the best southern Sweden can offer.
Children and dogs are very welcome and the big garden is all fenced which allows children and dogs playing around freely.

Summary: It is not difficult to have spent a wonderful vacation when you have stayed in a beautiful house surrounded by beautiful scenery and an incredible Mia as a host. Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in Maria's cozy cottage. The cottage is situated in the middle of a wood and encompases a large fenced garden. That makes it a perfect holiday location for dog owners like us. Maria is a warm and welcoming host who gave us several tipps, where to go and what to see in the nearby region. We will probably visit her again at some time in the future.

Summary: Mia is a great & caring host with lots of good recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The little house is decorated in style and with a lot passion, perfect for 2, depending on the weather, a bit tiny for 4 though (kitchen, bathroom), but a good fit for a couple of days, definitely. Very nice garden & a 15-20 minute ride by bike to beaches (i.e. Sibiria) or towards the city center. As a dog loving family (stubborn enough not having own dogs :-)), our kids enjoyed a lot playing with the dogs or practicing their football skills in the garden.

Summary: Mia gave us a lot of tips of what to do during our stay and our boys loved playing on the big lawn surrounding the two houses with her three nice dogs. A great holiday week! Good for excursions by bike and car. Take notice that the large living room is for eating and sleeping as well and that the kitchen and kids bedroom are rather small. Everything is furnished and decorated with a lot of good taste!

Summary: We stayed at Maria's little guest cottage for a weekend away from the city. It's a very pittoresque house with a cosy, warm interior. Maria was a great host, with sparkling wine and snacks ready for us at check-in time. Perfect after a few hours in the car. We decided to stay in the first night, and cook a meal in the cottage. It is possible to cook here, but only the basics because there is only a kitchenette. So no bigger meals are possible. We appreciated the fridge, so that we could stock up on drinks and snacks. It is always a good thing when traveling. A pleasant surprise was the great surroundings, a lush forest with big trees and a castle just around the corner. Perfect for hiking and wildlife watching. Maria has a couple of dogs, and they are curious, but well trained. Although, you should probably not be afraid of dogs if you decide to stay here, because they sometimes run around in the garden. We came when the weather turned a bit colder, so we needed to have the heater on. The heater was a little bit noisy during night time, but it was possible to turn it off, so it wasn't a big problem for us. Over all a perfect weekend get away cottage. We thank Maria for the warm welcome :)

Summary: Only the nicest things to say about this Cottage along with the sweetest owner and caretaker!!! Mia took no shortcuts in the beautiful furnishings in this cottage, as nice as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Every inch was decorated with amazing class and beauty. Mia is the most amazing owner-caretaker that I have ever come across in my 15 years experience renting properties on VRBO-Homeaway. Every single day she met us with a smile and asked what she could do to make our day easier. Mia would offer us a ride every single day in her car to take us places, at a fraction of the cost of a taxi ride. Such a wonderful sweet young lady, with so much class. Such a beautiful location in the woods, so very quiet and peaceful. Only a 10 minute drive into the town of Angelholm, 10 minute drive to the train station, or a 20 minute drive to the coastal beach. *** A 5 minute walk to the beautiful Castle, and endless hiking trails through the woods.
