Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Miami one one! From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was special, beautifully renovated throughout. The spacious living areas and thoughtful design made it so easy to relax and feel at home. The location couldn’t be better, just a short stroll across from Surfdale village shops and eateries, and close to beautiful beaches. It was so convenient to pop out for coffee, crepes or groceries. We loved spending time on the deck both at the front of the house and having direct outdoor access to decks from the bedrooms was a lovely touch. Communication with James was prompt and friendly, it made everything super smooth. Overall, this property is a gem — perfect for families, friends or couples looking to enjoy everything Waiheke Island has to offer. Highly recommended staying at this property if you get the opportunity. I will definitely be back to stay again! 🌿☀️

Negative: The location is great, and a small improvement would be noting that the property entrance is accessed from the side street, which would make arrival a bit clearer. It's a super minor point otherwise everything was seamless.

Positive: Immaculate condition! Clean and fresh throughout and very comfortable. We were staying as an extended family group and it suited us perfectly. The master bedroom is enormous, as is its ensuite. Beds are really comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed the garden beanbags on the deck, swing and bean bag toss game! Heat pump in living area kept it cosy on chilly spring mornings. 3/4min drive to Oneroa and 1 min walk to Surfdale shops!

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: Gorgeous property! Quality furnishings, comfy beds, good showers, well equipped kitchen, lots of seating areas, great outdoor area with BBQ. Close to bus stop, shops and the beach. James was a wonderful host. Quick to respond and accommodated our needs, he was great! We appreciated everything and had the best Christmas ever here! Played games on the lawn (before the rain!) and thoroughly enjoyed spending time here! Thank you James! If we ever come back here (hopefully we will!) we would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

Negative: We had another family member join us on our trip after the booking had been made. Host contacted me prior asking me to pay more money, even though the number of people made no difference to the cost of the booking on the listing and we were still fewer than the max allowed. Booking.com contacted host to resolve, and agreed with me it should make no difference to the cost of my reservation. Host cancelled my reservation just before our stay. I was able to rebook with the correct number of people, for the same original cost so it worked out, but didn’t appreciate being cancelled months after the reservation was made, during the busy season! No issues after that was resolved. Dishes were a little dirty, likely washed poorly by the last guests. Wash before you use.
