Summary: Super close to Stratton mountain. Living room with big windows and fireplace is great to hang out. But a septic issue made the bedroom level smell terribly of sewage and got worse as the weekend progressed. It’s hard getting into the house bc the front walkway was not shoveled.

Summary: The house is in a great location for skiing at Stratton! 5 mins drive to the base or shuttle service running every 30 mins. Perfect for a cozy ski weekend with the fireplace. We enjoyed it very much!

Summary: We stayed for four nights between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. This home fit our needs for a family of 4 perfectly, but certainly could have handled a larger group with ease (max two couples and a total of 6 kids given the beds). The highlights of the home are the unique architectural design, the thoughtful and creative improvements, and the location which provides easy access to Stratton.(including a shuttle that arrives at the end of the driveway every 30 minutes each morning and drops you back at the house in the afternoon). The home itself is reportedly one of the earliest remaining ski chalets in the area and still has all the charm of mid-century design, including a beautiful central fireplace and built-ins. It is not a cookie-cutter ski house, but instead a unique space with thoughtful touches by the owners.We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, using the provided projector for movies over the mantel in the evenings, and the views directly toward Stratton from the deck and most rooms.Owner (Matt) provided key information prior to our arrival and was available when we had a question or two. Really a wonderful experience and really looking forward to our next visit.Thank you!
