Positive: We travelled with our 4 year old and enjoyed our stay at this property. Found it very comfortable, clean and adequatly equipped, not cluttered at all. Location was great, easy walk to town, waterfront almost on a doorstep, yet house still far away enough from the noise of the main road. Perfect place to explore the region from. We appreciated having a full functioning kitchen. Pool in the complex was clean, heated and available.

Positive: Great location, spacious, washing machine, big fridge, deck.
Negative: Induction stovetop - controls were unreliable even when everything clean and dry, difficult to adjust, no instructions for use. Frying pan buckled so didnt work well, and had no lid. One of the main reasons for choosing this place was so we could cook, but it was so difficult we gave up. No coffee or coffee maker, toilet paper not provided, other than the end of a roll. Incorrect code provided for electronic door key in all the emails provided before arrival.

Positive: Location was good, easy access. Nice and quiet. Had a heated pool, we didnt use it but saw a family having fun in it.
Negative: Came with linen supplied. Didn't realise we only got 1 towel for 6 nights. Unit had washing machine with complex set of instructions and no laundry powder. Would have been good to know in advance and would have brought along own towels. Poor property managers, not accom fault.

Positive: Location was great-a 5 min walk to town and just a couple of mins from the Lake. Bed was very comfy and everything needed was in the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again when we come back to Taupo.

Positive: The entire villa was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room to stretch out and to get some privacy if needed.
Negative: I know this won't be changed because it's built into the space that it fits, but a half size fridge is just unacceptable, especially the pathetic icebox compartment that doesn't come remotely close to freezing anything. Given the quality of all the other facilities, it just feels cheap to have installed such an inferior product. Hopefully it's not too late to retrospectively install a larger fridge into each of the villas.
Summary: Spacious and comfortable accommodation and ideally located just a short walk from the lake.
