Taupo is renowned for trout fishing and is becoming known for adventure tourism with world class mountain biking, kayaking, bungee and sky diving nearby. Mount Ruapehu is also merely 40 minutes away.

Summary: Fantastic location for a base to visit Taupo. Short walking distance to hot water beach for evening relaxation. Property well appointed, clean and tidy. Host was awesome, with light breakfast and cookies provided. Great that pets are welcome, perfect for our family and definitely use again.

Summary: This place is an absolute gem. The location is amazing with the lake & cycle/walkway just about on your front step. It is extremely comfortable and has everything you would need for a very pleasant stay including Sky (with the sports channels). Mary was lovely to deal with and left us some freshly baked biscuits, fruit, yoghurt, mueslie and bread for our brekkie. I highly recommend this accommodation and will be back for sure 👌

Summary: Sunny west facing property with lovely sunset views. The apartment is more spacious than the photos show. Kitchenette is well kitted out. The outdoor area is private. The beds are comfortable with high quality bedding.
