Enjoy panoramic ocean, city, night light, and bay views from this stunning vacation home in a highly coveted North Pacific Beach neighborhood bordering the Birdrock area of La Jolla. Start your day with a killer espresso at Java Earth or Second Nature Cafe just a short 10 minute walk away then continue on another half mile to Tourmaline Surf Park beach to catch your morning set (Wavestorm boards provided if you don't bring your own ride). Or maybe you prefer a leisurely stroll through the charming Birdrock area of La Jolla, also just a short one mile walk/bike ride away. So much to choose from just minutes from this beautiful and beautifully situated vacation home.
Our 2,200 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home features two expansive decks with amazing views of the surrounding area so you may not even want to venture out. Decorated in a contemporary style, no detail has been left to chance. The main 700 sq ft deck is perfect for entertaining and features very comfortable furniture, stone dining table with seating for six, a high end natural gas Dacor grill, pyramid patio heater and a natural gas fire table for those cooler, San Diego evenings. Challenge your family members to a game of table tennis on our Kettler aluminum ping pong table or Harvard foosball table. Step inside the slider to our large living room with hardwood floors, large sofa with chaise lounge and 75" 4K Google HDTV.
Our spacious dining area merges seamlessly with our living room for an open, great room feel, and provides ample seating for dining in. The kitchen features all stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay. A powder room and laundry area full size washer and dryer toward the front of the house rounds out the downstairs living area.
Upstairs you will find a massive, 300 sqft primary bedroom suite with its own private, 250 sqft balcony with even better views of the coastline, bay, and cityscape. Stylishly decorated and furnished with a king size bed, this space is a true sanctuary. The primary bathroom features dual vanities, shower over tub and a primping area. Down the hall toward the front of the house, two additional bedrooms share the 3rd bathroom with walk-in shower. The first bedroom sports a Serta Posturepedic queen bed, while the slightly larger, 3rd bedroom at the front of the house is furnished with 2 double size beds. The house comfortably sleeps 6-8 guests. All bedrooms are equipped with HDTVs with Roku streaming devices.
In the garage we have all manner of toys for your visit, including the aforementioned 8' Wavestorm surf board, a larger 10 ft Surftec Tuflite epoxy longboard, a 5' Sushi surfboard, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, Frisbees and beach bags with sand play items for the little ones. You can optionally rent our 6 cruiser bicycles to cruise the town in style.
This is truly a magical place in a magnificent area.
Please note that this property is privately owned and managed and primarily offered as a 'family rental'. We do not rent to groups of individuals under 30 and rarely to those under 35. The home is in a fairly quiet neighborhood in North Pacific Beach that is more 'La Jolla Birdrock' than 'Mission/Pacific Beach'. If you are looking for a PB 'party house', look elsewhere.

Summary: Walkway is large slabs and first 3 are all different heights,almost fell. Patio furniture coverings dirty, owner came cleaned them,underneath chairs too dirty to sit in.Al rag on the plastic table was just that.yuk Few pots,pans, no Kuergic coffee pot or coffee.Couldn't turn on shower in either place. Owner had to come and show us.I am 86 and own many properties and these faucets were weird. Dangerous to get out of the drive, large bush obscured and it is on top of a hill. We shall not return.

Summary: This property is perfect for a family trip or fun weekend stay. Located in North Pacific beach, you’re just a walk or quick drive away to restaurants, stores and shops! The neighborhood is quiet and the a house has a gorgeous view from the first level patio and second level patio. Plenty of space for relaxing or activities. Very friendly owners and great communication.

Summary: House had great views in a nice area. We stayed with our kids and grand kids. Loved the ping pong and house was well equipped with games, beach supplies and was very spacious. We love the outdoor decks and would watch the fireworks from the top deck every night with our grandkids which was nice! House is close to La Jolla and pacific beach and LEGOLAND was just a short drive. We did run out of things early in our stay, paper towels, trash bags, tp, dishwasher soap. Very minimum was put out, however this was fixed quickly by owner

Summary: We had a great stay while our home was being remodeled. Loved the property; found it to be everything that was advertised. It was very clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is very quiet. The double deck space is an added bonus. Drew is very easy to work with and extremely responsive. I would highly recommend the property.

Summary: Our family of 5 including 2 teens and my father-in-law enjoyed our Thanksgiving at San Diego Vista. My communications with Drew leading up to and during the stay were really clear, timely and helpful. The property itself is in an amazing location - we rented the house bikes and could bike to the beach boardwalk and restaurants and shops, and we could easily get to grocery shopping and adventures including a UCSD visit, a hike in Cardiff and beach at Torrey Pines. The decks had beautiful views and comfortable furniture, plus firepit to warm up on the cooler days, and the windows showed off the views and opened up completely for indoor/outdoor living. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook a simple Thanksgiving dinner, and it was great to have the beach chairs and surfboards. Lastly, the beds were comfortable and the bedroom arrangement worked perfectly for our family - king in master, queen in room my father-in-law used, and 2 queens in the room our daughters shared. Would highly recommend!
