Please note that this is a penthouse apartment on the 5th floor of a historic building with no lift/elevator. You will need to manage - hopefully enjoy - 5 flights of elegant marble stairs to access it and the magical views it provides. Extra baklava rewards are yours :))
The apartment building is very well connected to public transport and taxis are easily available. It’s 500m from Galata Tower, only 4 minutes' walk from Sishane metro station, 3 minutes' walk to Tünel funicular and a short downhill walk to connect with the tram for Sultanahmet. Famous Istiklal Avenue is around 5 minutes' walk up the hill.
- The large TERRACE is absolutely stunning. Truly breathtaking 180 degree views across the Bosphorus and Golden Horn are yours to enjoy - in privacy - any time you like. Such a feature with such a perfect view is very unusual for Istanbul, unique in fact - magical! It's furnished with a dining table and seating for 4 plus two comfortable deck chairs.
- 2 DOUBLE BEDROOMS (with stylish double beds) make it romantic for a couple, fun for 2 couples and spacious for 2 single travellers . The main bedroom has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors with direct access to the terrace and its views. Pull the curtains back in the morning to ever-changing light over the city and enjoy tea in bed with the skyline spread our before you! The second bedroom is tucked away at the back of the property, cosy and quiet but with no views.
Linens and towels are all top quality Turkish cotton - crisp, white and freshly laundered. Duvets are feather and plentiful pillows are either feather or microfibre, so you may choose to mix as you wish for your personal comfort.
- The LIVING ROOM also has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors with direct access to the terrace. It's large and comfortable with atmospheric lighting and cosy, stylish seating for everyone plus a bar table with high stools to make the most of the views. Another special feature is a high quality contemporary wood-burning fireplace - incredibly atmospheric in the cooler months.
Please note that the apartment boasts very efficient central combi-gas heating, so the fireplace is largely for atmosphere.
- The high-end designer KITCHEN is open plan and spacious, with a gas hob, oven, microwave and large fridge-freezer. All the kitchen equipment is of great quality and well thought-out. Cafetière, Turkish coffee pan, teapot, tea glasses and large mugs are all provided, as are start-up amounts of coffee, tea and sugar. Glasses and crockery are stylish and plentiful.
Close to the kitchen is a circular designer dining table with atmospheric pendant lighting and comfortable seating for 4.
- The en suite BATHROOM is modern with a roomy rain-shower and 24/7 hot water. It has a beautiful marble hamam-style basin, lots of storage and high quality Turkish cotton white towels.
The second loo, close to the second bedroom, also has a stylish marble basin.
- Each bedroom has a huge fitted WARDROBE providing extra storage space for clothes and suitcases.
- There is a LAUNDRY CUPBOARD with a washing machine, iron and ironing board plus storage space.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay here in Istanbul. Views and location were both great! Host was very responsive and check-in and out were easy. Do be prepared to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, but it was definitely worth it. Very central location made it easy to walk to most of the places we went to check out, and the area is definitely not short on really great places to eat.

Summary: Stayed here with an infant child and had a great experience. they provided a pack and play/crib upon our arrival. the host was very helpful and communicative via CMA, especially with our delayed arrival and departures. they provided great recommendations. The view was absolutely incredible as well. Just be sure you're comfortable with stairs.

Summary: 1 word: AMAZING! The view itself was everything..waking up and going to bed to the stunning 180 degree view of European and Asian Istanbul was mesmerizing! Check-in was easy with Julia. The apartment was more than spacious and comfortable for my husband & I (would be comfy for a family of 4 as well with the extra bed). We used the kitchen amenities to make tea, turkish coffee and heat up leftovers. But if you wanted to cook a full meal, you have everything (plus a neighborhood market for groceries just below the area). Location wise it's perfect to walk to all places in Beyoğlu, Cihangir, Karakoy and even Fatih side (if you wanted to walk it via Galata Bridge). I loved being in the middle of everything (cafes, shops, restaurants).

Summary: If you have any doubts, throw it right away. This is a great apartment. Yes, there is a nuance with a staircase that is difficult to climb upstairs. But on the second day, we flew on this staircase as if on the wings. I really liked everything. I recommend it.

Summary: Julia’s place was straight out of a dream. The walk up to the fifth floor is no easy feat, but the breathtaking views make it absolutely worth it. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was the perfect way to start each day. Beyond the views, the apartment is thoughtfully curated with everything you might need for a comfortable stay, whether long or short. Just a stone’s throw away from Galata Tower, it’s surrounded by amazing cafes, restaurants, juice shops, and supermarkets. The tram stop is about a 10-minute walk, offering easy connectivity to the rest of the city. The hosts were quick to respond to all our queries—whether it was for recommendations, porter services, or addressing any issues. They were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay truly special. Having a porter carry our luggage was a huge help and much appreciated.

Summary: Superb stay with immaculate views! The interior is stunning and very clean. We enjoyed the terrace overlooking 180 degree angle of Bosphorus views. Walking distance to most touristic destinations. Will definitely stay here again once we’re back in Istanbul. So far one of my most favourite stays.
