Positive: Mimi’s home for a day or a weekend I loved the house it was absolutely stunning on the inside. Easy access. Quiet neighborhood. Had lots of labels on things so there was no guessing what was what. Everything was found in a location that was obvious in the home. Spices and cooking oils were provided in home. Extra towels and oven mits in the kitchen,. Bathroom fully stocked with also included body wash shampoo and conditioner which was amazing, even though i had brought some from home, but they were great smelling!! Pillows are soft and fluffy, and extra fuzzy blankets were in the closet. Walking distance to nye beach, and the few shops located down there. Enjoyed my vacay with my hubby, for his bday!! Ty for such a great stay!

Positive: Good location and certainly good price. The weather was just awful, though, so that colored our experience. It was cold and very rainy the whole time. We did like having a kitchen and fireplace. The space was fine and we were glad to be there - for the most part. We had to stay indoors more than we'd hoped because of the rain.
Negative: I'd asked in advance if the host could use fragrance free soaps on the linens. I heard back promptly, "of course, we do" but on the 2nd night I had an intense allergic reaction to SOMETHING. To be fair, it could have been something entirely outside Mimi's Hideaway, but when I stripped the bed, I found a dryer sheet (I never tolerate fabric softeners in any form.) This shocked me. Also, the silverware was lacking: I think there was only 1 fork. And there was no wine opener. Things were not as well provided -- or accurate (i.e. the soaps on the linen) as I'd expected. And my allergic reaction was so severe I had to stop and get medication before traveling home.
Summary: It was pretty good. Location was very good. Weather was dreadful.

Positive: For a small beach house it was furnished and stocked to the nines, very much enjoyed my stay and the price.
Negative: Even when I turned down the heat it was very muggy, and the bedding was a bit too thick with the heat. Bed was also quite squeaky haha, and the right bedside table lamp flickers at times, but the porch light was going off all throughout the night when anything passed on the street so it was hard to relax or sleep.
