Summary: Our family of four stayed in the Superior Family Room for 5 nights. The room could sleep 8, but we only used the 2 double beds and one bunk bed. The online check in and QR code in the lobby worked fine for us. The room was clean and the layout was roomy. We had plenty of room for bags and still had seating. Plenty of wall outlets and the separate shower vs. toilet is helpful for a family. The kitchenette was perfect, it had a fridge, freezer and microwave for late night Lawson runs. The neighborhood was very quiet and it was just a quick walk over to Ueno Park or Ameyoko Street for dinner and nightlife, also convenient to get to train stations. We used the laundry facilities and they were efficient and not busy. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It was perfect for our family and we would not hesitate to book again. Ueno was a fun neighborhood and Minn Ueno was a welcome oasis after many fun and busy days in Tokyo.
