Summary: Beautiful lodge with nice rooms. We were upgraded to a mountain view which was very pretty. The lobby is quite ski lodge like and comfortable. The breakfast was large enough and tasty. My only complaint is the air conditioner. It was very loud and woke us up several times during the night. Our bathroom was not one of the updated ones but was clean and roomy. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: A perfectly delightful Continental breakfast sent us on our way. The fireflies were amazing! The room was silent and the grounds were beautiful. The view of the mountains from our balcony was spectacular.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. The lodge is very comfortable, the views of the back porch are spectacular, the trails are fun to explore, and all the people that work at the lodge are very nice and helpful.

Summary: We have stayed at this lodge many times over the years. It's great especially if you are hiking in Minnewaska. They have renovated some rooms and some common areas but there are many other areas that still need a refresh. Price per night has gone up considerably and we were expecting the lodge to be pristine. Also, they tacked on a "resort fee" to our already high rate and I am not sure what we got for that. Front entrance porch boards needs paint, hallway rugs are old/stained and renovated rooms still have tired bathrooms. Again, for the lower rate this would be fine but not for what we paid per night. Matt at checkin was friendly and welcoming. Walkable to the delicious German restaurant across the street. Breakfast was good but nothing special. Would stay again but only for a much lower rate.

Summary: My boyfriend and I had a great stay. The staff is kind and attentive. The place is clean, there’s games to play and tons of places around the property to sit and relax. The trails are nice (the red trail has a rock scramble we weren’t expecting but tried anyway and now continue to laugh about the experience.) All in all we really enjoyed our short stay at the lodge.

Summary: This is was our second stay at Minnewaska and this time we brought our kids. We love it here. It is peaceful and tranquil. The property borders the state park so you see a tall cliff on the grounds. The recently renovated, which made our stay even better! The grounds have various hiking trails to take advantage of and the staff are friendly and inviting. I highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life!
