Summary: My sister and and I planned a road trip and had a few days to stay in Waco. I searched several VRBO's in the area and we decided on this house. The thing about choosing a VRBO is they never give you an address so you could look it up on google maps. We pulled up to the property and I knew we were in the correct place, as I recognized the house from the listing. Unfortunately, the house next door was a complete dump and kind of scared us…2 women staying alone in what appeared to be a sketchy part of town. The house was as described, as only a few blocks from the Magnolia silos. Unfortunately this house could have been so much better, if they’d spend a little more money on furnishings. Most of the furniture was rickety to say the least. When we entered the house, it was 56* inside. The furnace was turned way down. (The temps were unusually cold for the time we visited, so it took awhile for the house to warm up). When we got there, I had the wrong code to get into the house, but I called the host right away and he was very helpful in giving us the correct code. It wasn’t a terrible place, but if we’d know where it was located, we probably would have just chosen a hotel to stay at. I wish I could add a pic of the house next door (I took several). It was a dump and when we sent pics to our spouses, they told us we shouldn’t stay there.
