Positive: We enjoyed the spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. It's a lovely gated community. We felt very safe there. Walking distance to the beach and local places to dine.Truly beautiful sunset at Sunset Beach about 5 minutes walk away. Our hosts were accommodating and allowed us extra time to stay as we had a late flight, which was very much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this holiday home especially if you prefer walking distance to shops, beaches, restaurants, entertainment and having a lovely comfortable place to stay❤️

Negative: Unfortunately, the wifi in part of the area went out, which is no fault of our hosts who were really accommodating. We stayed here before and had no issues with wifi. We had to walk up to the arcade, Starbucks, and other places for some wifi during the day, but it was very limited and noisy space to make a call. Although we all enjoyed going out, the kids were disappointed not being able to relax inside a little to watch American shows before returning to the UK, but more importantly, it was difficult to contact family and friends, retrieve messages, and flight check-in. Perhaps next time, we would need to try and have backup with a Jamaican sim with wifi. Especially for those who rely on WiFi at holiday homes.

Positive: The villa was lovely, really well kept and very spacious. The location was great too, just off of the main strip in a quiet and well secured gated community. The pool was great, gym good and the the facilities within the house were great. We would definitely stay here again. The security guards were also really lovely and friendly.

Positive: Many things to say about this place - 1. The location - Near to airport and walkable distance to Doctor's Cove Beach, Harmony Beach Park & Old Hospital Park. Our favorite Bollywood Dhaba Indian restaurant also just nearby. 2. The house - It has everything, even beach toys and a bag to carry them around!! All bedrooms have attached bathrooms; the washer/dryer came much handy for us!! There are some kid friendly games as well. 3. The amenities - Needless to say that the pool was good, but the best part for my kids was the park just near the house which doesn't feature even in the pictures. It is a decent sized open space with few swings and a climbing structure as well. My son enjoyed playing soccer also here. 4. The community - As the listing says "Mobas Las Palmas", we kept saying the same to immigration and taxi drivers at airport but they did not seem to understand that this was located at "Chatham Palms" which is the name of the community and a more familiar name to everyone around. Whoever reading this review - I suggest referring this place as "Chatham Palms" :) My kids made a few friends here who are Jamaicans; easily a family friendly community. We enjoyed walking around as well. The security is so helpful and friendly too. So glad to have booked this place! If we ever come back, we will definitely book this again.

Negative: Backyard not maintained. No extra blankets. Air conditioning shuts off after a time so gets hot at night

Positive: The owner was awesome. My daughter and her friend got stuck there for a few days during the cyclone. He made sure that they were safe and continually updated us ensuring that they had everything that they needed during the cyclone and its aftermath. The girls both said that the accommodation was clean and safe as it was a gated community with a local caretaker. They were very pleased with the facility and would definitely stay there again.
