Right across the Aquatic Center, there is a path that will lead you to Brookside Park: where you can find basketball courts, sand volleyball pits, shelters with picnic tables and large open spaces for any activities you can dream of.

North Grand Mall and Downtown Ames are great places to shop and are only a 5-minute drive from the property. North Grand Mall has great chain stores: American Eagle, Ragstock, JC Penny and more! Summary: Came to see our daughter who attends Iowa State over Easter. Plus was we could bring the dog. House is close to everything! Great stay!

Summary: I would definitely recommend staying here. It was very clean. The neighborhood was very pleasant and safe. Our host communicated very well and was great to work with. If you are looking for a place to stay in Ames, this would be a great choice.

Summary: The duplex is nice and located in a quiet part of Ames. The home is a bit older, but has some nice updates. If you like a firm mattress, you’ll love the bed! We appreciated being able to bring our dog with us as well.

Summary: I was in Ames for a songwriting workshop with a colleague. This 1 BR efficiency Vrbo was perfect for us. Although there were two of us, the property has a lengthy comfortable couch and and air mattress for an extra person. Full kitchen with plates and cookware. Bathroom was clean and stocked with supplies. Not a huge space, but totally fine for a place to sleep comfortably and cook your own food. Easy access to the community, campus, and downtown. Keyless entry/exit and great communication with host, who was easy to work with. Highly recommend.
