Positive: The location is in a good spot. Myself and my husband host a Minister's Retreat every year around April and this is the first time our group has used a Home Away from Home and everyone loved it. Normally we book 5-7 rooms and the conference room for the class sessions and it cost from $1000 plus and this year we saved a few bucks which helped our ministry expenses. The contact person responded to me quickly and offered to help us if we needed any additional assistance and that was nice. We were able to meet and teach without interruptions and this made it ease to teach our ministers. The kitchen is a big plus for us as a group because we were able to cook together and have great fellowship and all the items we needed to cook with were decent to use, etc. Our group this year totaled 9 adults and all agreed that the beds were comfortable, bath rooms were nice and supplies were aviaible if we needed it. In the future if we visit again, we will pray to get in this location.
Negative: The only thing that was brought to my attention was a open alcoholic beverage (Corona) found by the bedside on the floor in the bedroom (not the master bedroom). The remaining was pored out and the bottle was trashed.
