Summary: The apartment has fully met all expectations. The landlord is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very comfortable for two people, but also for 4 people perfectly sufficient. The furnishings are modern and in very good condition. Washing machine, stove, oven, dishwasher and all accessories are available. The city centre and shopping facilities are within a 5 to 10 minutes walking radius. Above all, the sufficient parking spaces in front of the house are a blessing. You don't find that very often in Torshavn. We stayed here a week and would love to come back.

Summary: We spent two wonderful weeks. To which the host contributed a lot. Many positive things: Apartment very clean. Sufficiently to well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood. Parking in front of the house. Short walk to city center. Water pressure in shower excellent. All in all a welcoming accomodation. If one really would want to find something inconvenient one would have to dig deep. Being used to big bed we found it a bit small. No bedside table. No real wardrobe (which, however, seems to be common in all Scandinavian countries). No freezer. But in all fairness this would mean searching in the crumbs. All inferior matters which didn't spoil the stay in the least. The only thing which was a bit inconvenient were the sound of footsteps from above which sometimes could be heard until very late in the night. The positive things by far outweighed the minor matters. Stressed must be the host's hospitality, helpfulness, assistance, advice in all matters. Much apprecited. There is no doubt that we would rent this place again.

Summary: We can warmly recommend this cosy apartment. It was extremely clean, the heating and the shower were functioning very well and the kitchen equipment was more than satisfying. You can walk to the city centre in about 10 minutes. The host gave us many important informations about supermarkets and restaurants and was very helpful whenever we contacted him. Torshavn is a good location if you want to explore many islands, as traffic infrastructure is exemplary. In summary: We couldn't imagine a better apartment than this one!
