Originally built in 1910s, Double Turquoise home has been fully renovated into a tasteful modern beauty. This house sleeps 10 people, perfect for bringing the whole family and friends to spend some quality time together.
Large sunny warm house with three bathrooms and four bedrooms, comfortably accommodates up to 10 people.
Fully fenced backyard, safe for small children.
Perfect location, about 5min to CBD, 10min to the beach, 1min petrol station, 2min supermarket.
Plenty dining and take away options just a short walk away.
Bus stop 1 min walk.
We are 5min drive from the best family playground in Christchurch. Margaret Mahy Playground at Manchester St - CBD
Two parking spaces in the property plus plenty on street parking.

Summary: This property was great for location, close to everything. The bedding configurations allow for large families. The communication between the property manager and myself was excellent. Although the property is near the road there is a fenced back yard which would make it suitable for young children. I booked this for family visiting from the North and it could not have been more suitable.

Summary: This was the most comfortable home we stayed in while we were in New Zealand. 4 spacious bedrooms, plenty of pillows, a good main bathroom, ensuite and extra toilet, a drying rack for clothes. We arrived to find the home with air conditioning already running and it was available everywhere if required. Tastefully decorated. There was a small issue with a door handle and a small issue with Netflix both which was rectified immediately. It was good to have a welcome document and although it was reasonable it seemed a bit demanding. Just be aware that apart from a few takeaways within walking distance it was necessary to drive everywhere. If we return to Christchurch we would definitely hope to stay there again.

Summary: Aweosme spacious house with lots of room for the 9 of us (5 children & 4 adults). We arrived at midnight and it was so nice to open the pantry and find some tea and coffee so we could make ourselves a cup of tea after a big day travelling. House was warm and beds super comfy! Check in and contact with the owner was so easy. Thanks 😊

Summary: We had a great stay at this spot! Clean, close to take away, cafes, and shops, this was a really comfortable place to spend a weekend with a big family or friends. Will definitely stay here again!

Summary: Place was nice but just needed cleaning and mantaince done curtain in bedroom was of the track and hanging down bottom bunk found a nightie in it Also toilet of the washhouse kept running place just needs some TLC

Summary: The house is very clean and comfortable with large kitchen and living area. Plenty of heating and xtra rugs during the brief cold snap while we were there and stayed cool when temperatures rose. Only a short walk to small group of shops with great Thai and Indian Restaurants. Bakery looked pretty good too. Would definitely stay there again.
