Summary: All great Lake access with dogs is tricky - ceosssing road and no easy way in if they don’t jump off the dock! But we enjoyed The house is great Maybe trim the hedges so drivers can see cars when exiting driveway And maybe mow grass in back - long grass = more mosquitos! But overall it was a great short vacation

Summary: Well equipped vacation house, very clean. Beds were quite comfortable. Full tank for the BBQ upon arrival was a pleasant surprise - we have always had to replace the tank with other rentals previously. Dock is well maintained, we had a lot of of fun swimming in the lake and kayaking around with the one provided by the host. Host was very responsive and provided helpful information at timely intervals. Super easy check in and out. Would 100% book again!!

Summary: The place is very clean and spacious and located in a great location. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a stay to get away from the City and relax. The area is peaceful and the view of the lake from inside and outside the property is spectacular, especially at sunset time. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely go again.

Summary: When we walked in I was very impressed with the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the property. The yard is huge, the upstairs is well set up for kids, with some low ceilings. Ours are 6 and 8, and we just gave them the whole upstairs with their own bathroom. It was fantastic. My husband and I stayed on the main floor, which is also close to a bathroom. The yard is huge, out front there's a badminton net, rackets and birdies are provided. My son and I spent loads of time there. The lake being across the road wasn't a big deal at all, the way up is A LOT of stairs (but I'm 7 months pregnant, so it probably seemed like more!). I will say the air conditioning, while it does cool, it's doesn't take any moisture out of the air, so all our stuff felt moist after a few days and there was no fixing it. There's only AC in the bedrooms, we needed a fan (not provided) to blow the cool air into the living room or it was quite warm. Overall I'd highly recommend this property. Comes exactly as described, and very well kept.

Summary: The cottage itself was very clean. Had all the amenities and a few paper products as well. Sunsets were beautiful and the gazebo with the netting on the front deck was a blessing when the mosquitos were out. Nice and quiet area many chairs to sit on outside, and the kitchen was quite large to prepare and store food.Orillia is a 30 min drive with a quaint main street. The only qualm I had with the cottage is that the air conditioners in the bedrooms are very loud but the white noise makes you drift off. There were no top sheets on the beds, just a bottom sheet and a comforter which made it warm for the summer bedding. All in all, I would highly recommend this cozy place and wouldn't hesitate to return again.
