Summary: We were a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 12 and 15. Siegfried and Claudia were very helpful and accommodating, and the house is lovely. Everything was perfectly clean and modern, and plenty of basic essentials when we arrived like detergent, sugar etc. There are shops in St. Georgen which is only a few minutes drive away. There are several walks into the forest directly from the house, so we didn't have to drive to start exploring the area. There is a stream running beside the house which provided lots of entertainment for our boys. The house is conveniently located for driving to Europa Park, France (Strasbourg) and Switzerland (Stein am Rhein) all of which are highly recommended if you want to keep everyone entertained! The giant couch, flat screen TV and Apple TV was fantastic for the evenings where we could relax together after a day hiking etc. This was an ideal way for us to explore the Black Forest, thanks Siegfried and Claudia!

Summary: A wonderful place to stay. 2 families with young children. Lots of space and the house is as described, clean and well maintained. Siegfried and Claudia gave us lots of advice on good places to go. Everything is a drive away but everything you need is within 5 minutes. One criticism is that the blinds and voile curtains let in a lot of light, making a sleep in difficult. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The location is great to visit the Black Forest. The house is very big and confortable. Clean and provided with all you need. The children enjoyed playing outside. Totally recomended for family holidays. Our host were very nice and helpul.
