Summary: Two old Ladies who used to cycle on the Galloping Goose spent two very comfortable days at Laura's apartment. This was ideal from our point of view with fully appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, and lovely view of the garden at the end of which was the trail. It is close to downtown Sooke, which has a good grocery store and restaurants. The building itself has solar panels which serve the electrical needs of the apartment.. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and accessible to great hiking trails. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for, especially the evening campfire and the fire station tour.

Summary: Loved the proximity to the Galloping Goose and the fact that we could walk it with a stroller. The perpetually backed-up traffic into town was a bit of an annoying and unforeseen problem. I liked the booklet the host left for us - appreciated the local tips on food and outings. Also appreciated the playpen and lots of extra blankets. (A high chair would’ve been awesome!) But while one of the queen beds was super comfy, the other definitely was not. Also had ongoing issues with the tv while we were trying to play music. The bbq was a bit out of the way and we didn’t have utensils. But overall a very enjoyable stay.
