Summary: It was a very nice place. We had a great time. The fire pit was really fun and it was nice to have wood there ready for us.

Summary: WE enjoyed our stay here, there was a little hitch in the check-in process but it was taken care of promptly. The property is clean and has many nice features. It is nicely equipped although we would have appreciated some plastic plates and cups for the children. The rooms worked perfectly for us, with nice bed and bedding. We loved the living room and fireplace for our cozy fall evenings. The view was what really set off this property. The weather was nice, so we spent early evenings watching the sunset from the porch. The colors and reflections were spectacular! I would recommend this property to others looking for a fall getaway.

Summary: This property was in a convenient location. Clean inside although the entry and deck were covered in acorns, pine needles and leaves. The kitchen did not have many serving dishes and had only a single wine glass. We went out and bought our own to use for the weekend. Two bedrooms upstairs, but no bathroom up there. Both bathrooms are on main floor. No window coverings on any windows, so did not feel comfortable to dress/undress in bedrooms, especially at night. Main floor bedroom had no lamps on the nightstand, which was odd. Had to use my phone flashlight to get to bed, plug phone in etc once the ceiling light was turned off. Configuration of home and furniture didn’t offer much for a view of the lake. Main floor bed was comfortable, but the rest of our adult family who stayed in upstairs bedrooms said beds were not very comfortable, very soft and rolled to the middle.

Summary: The lake house is nice.The pictures of the beach and sand area was very misleading. The pictures showed a pristine lake front and sandy beach, when we arrived we were so disappointed that there was no sandy lake front and the sand area was overgrown with thistles. I contacted the owner asking if we could clear the weeds so we had some access to the lake but she told me that the DNR wouldn’t allow it (they must have allowed at some point to take the pictures). I would like to contact to owner and try to get some kind of refund.

Summary: Check-in was easy, everything was just as described and very clean. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, cozy blankets and toilet paper (a group of women appreciate that). Modern TV, lighting and kitchen appliances. New dock was a favorite for our morning coffee (kurig provided) and the kitchen island was our go to for dinners. Plenty of seating inside and out, bring your own firewood to enjoy the firepit. We rented a pontoon on another lake (Gull) but saw you could rent on their lake. We did a little shopping in Nisswa, very cute town. The house is on a quite road, and as others have said, you can here the race track but nothing a little music doesn't drown out. The lake itself is quiet, we saw a couple evening pontoon rides and a skiiiers once. The lake is very swimable, shallow with maintained/weed control in front of the dock. Communication with Faith was quick and easy. 5 stars without hesitation.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Location is incredibly convenient to Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Baxter, BIR (less than 2 miles away!), Brainerd. So much to do. And yet, this home is tucked away on a quiet lake set up for a perfect family stay. The lake was teeming with wildlife including loons, geese and ducks. The Home was wonderfully stocked with the essentials plus very nice details to make the stay easy and comfortable… from movie watching and game night to s’mores by the fire, grilling, or kayaking on the lake.
