Summary: We had a fantastic time at the lake house. It was myself, my wife, 2 teenage daughters, and 2 chihuahua doggies. The place was clean and exactly as listed. The view of the water was beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Summary: This property has all that you need for a short getaway. My family of six (4 adults and 2 kids) was able to fit, but could not spread out. The master bedroom and en suite were lovely, but the other 2 rooms are tiny. The 2nd bathroom is tiny and it is difficult to use if you are an adult. I would recommend this property for 2 adults with kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you could need but lacked space to put any food items. I was pleasantly surprised that there is a washer/dryer because it is not listed in the amenities. Using the washer did affect the water pressure of the entire house. There were also 2 kayaks which we used every day. The house was clean at first glance but needed a deep clean as there was a fair amount of dust on all the baseboards and window sills. The screened deck area was great but was dirty and needed repair. We used the gas grill and it was in working order. The outside line to dry towels was broken and there was not a good place to put damp belongings. We brought our dog with us and he had a wonderful time. We did have issues with the dog from next door, as each morning he would come onto the property and bark loudly. The neighbors never made an attempt to stop this. the last day there was an alarm sounding at the neighbor's house all day. We ultimately decided to leave early. The lake and dock were awesome, but ladder was very difficult to use. I would recommend water shoes for all as the water is shallow with a muddy bottom.

Summary: Our family of five very much enjoyed our stay in this tiny cabin right on the shore of the lake. The kitchen had all the tools I needed to make easy meals for us all, and we’d eat on the screened-in porch. The kids had a blast jumping off the dock and using the two kayaks. From the cabin, we explored land between the lakes and rented a pontoon boat out of Paris landing. Everything was a bit of a drive, but the scenery was so pretty we didn’t mind. Gary was very helpful and even left us wood for a fire in the bonfire ring while we were there. We had a really great stay!

Summary: This is a great little lakefront cottage with a steady & reasonable slope to to an outstanding dock. The house was very clean and had everything you could ask for. Even the grill was clean and in great shape, which is a rarity with rentals. The screened in porch is a fantastic place to eat lunch or dinner outside and avoid the bugs. There is little to no cell service, but the internet and wifi are excellent. The owner (Gary) is fantastic and really cares about his guests having a a great experience. He is on top of anything you need. Really appreciate being able to bring our dogs! One note of caution is ticks are really bad right now. We picked them off of us and our dogs constantly and found even more upon returning home. Just make sure to freshly treat your dog before or during your stay! I would definitely recommend this hidden gem and will be back!

Summary: We loved the cottage! It was super clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing time at the lake. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on the first night as it was quite cool. The rest of our time was spent enjoying the beautiful view from the screened in porch. The neighbors are friendly as well as their dogs. Our dog enjoyed her stay, especially watching the squirrels from the porch! Just a note for others, the garbage bin is at the top of the driveway on Hillsdale Lane to use when you leave and need to empty the household trash. There were two kayaks available for use if you are so inclined. We didn't even turn on the TV. The peace and quiet was wonderful.

Summary: The house is smaller than what we expected as we had 6 people (4 adults and 2 teenagers), but has pretty much everything you need. The dock for boats is really nice. Also the outside grill is nice if you like to grill out. Check in process was smooth and people from Evolve and Gary were very responsive when we needed help.

Summary: This is a nice little cabin. Right on the lake and nice dock. We had a long girls weekend and took a pontoon. There is a boat launch 10 mins away Boyds Branch. Gas stations are about 30 mins away FYI.... There is a Dollar General about 15 mins away. There several restaurants and marinas close by for boating! The coffee maker is a drip coffee maker!

Summary: We loved the cottage! It was super clean and had everything we needed. The view was amazing from the screened in back porch. We spent the majority of our time just gazing out at the beautiful lake. We had a fire in the pit on the first night because it was very cool. It's a great place - quiet and beautiful. The neighbors are very nice and their dogs are too. We would definitely recommend this gem on the lake. Our dog gave it her "paw" of approval.
