Summary: This place was perfectly represented! Our three small dogs loved the fenced in yard. Plenty of room and everything you need-just like home. Visited Matthiessen State Park which was only a few minutes away. The host responded within minutes- hope to be back soon!!

Summary: The location was great with the trail heads in 3 state parks and a nature preserve each just a 15 minute drive away. The house was also close to supermarkets and the downtown, which had many restaurants and lots of free parking. The owner, Emilia, was quick to respond to our email and straighten out a minor glitch with the check in. The beds were super comfortable and very much appreciated after a day of hiking. The house had good WiFi, easy off street parking, was very well equipped, and clearly quite dog friendly although we didn't bring ours along.

Summary: We really enjoyed Starved Rock State Park. Fall colors were beautiful and great hiking. The canyons were not what you expect in Illinois. Ottawa is a cute town that is convenient to other attractions. Heads up many of the restaurants are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Summary: Very nice stay for our kids fall break. The fenced yard was great for our dog. The neighborhood felt safe. We didn't automatically receive check in info but our host was extremely prompt and responsive to help us get in.
